Being able to find just the right card for someone is important to me, so looking round this wonderful gallery full of paintings, jewellery and sculptures I didn't think I would find a card for a special couple who are moving to this area, but I did and was both surprised and very happy to make a purchase, even more so when I found out that the lady who was at the till was the artist who created such a gorgeous item.

Aberdovey has a beautiful beach and nice shops and cafes 😁 It wasn’t too busy which was nice.I enjoyed walking along by the sea and watching boats pass by.

ArtWorks is a great place to enjoy and perhaps buy work by mid Wales artists. Its run as a not for profit rather than on commercial lines. Its one of the few places in the wider area where you can see the work of local artists and makers (the commercial gallery in Aberdyfi closed 18 months ago and there have also been closures in Mach).
Its open daily in the summer and just off the main seafront in Chapel square. As well as paintings there is also photography, prints, glass, pottery, jewellery and textiles. The staff are friendly and you are under no pressure to buy.

Visited here again this year on a couple of occasions during on our annual family holiday. I had not realized the details about the running of this business until reading them on here.
The staff on both occasions were very helpful and not at all pushy. I expect business is doing well with the other gallery over the road having shut.
A wide variety of stock including some beautiful cards and jewelry.

Excellent selection of local artists work, at a good range of prices, large and small, some framed some unframed, . Friendly and knowledgable proprietor, who knows the artists and also offers framing.

What a treasure trove, nestled in the back streets of Aberdyfi ! If only I had the space on my walls to hang such brilliant artwork, truly awe inspiring. For any of you looking for the latter then I recommend that you visit this “ Aladdin’s Cave “ before anywhere else. Additionally, most of the items on sale are reasonably priced.

A well laid out gallery with pictures, prints, sculptures, jewellery, post cards and a lot more, particularly local artwork. Friendly and helpful owners. They do picture repairs too at reasonable prices. Reliable.

Very impressed after having a lovely chat with the owners. They have a passion for helping amateur artists and give them the opportunity to display their art works. My husband is an amateur artist and to see a shop that appreciates work by all artists is refreshing and admirable.

Lovely gallery....range of works, prints, photos etc at a range of prices. Also jewellery, etc. Bought a photo of Aberdovey which showed the lovely cottage we are currently staying in. Helpful and friendly lady. Worth a visit.
