We frequently stay not far from the Borough Arms, so the new bike hire that's opened near there is really convenient for us, but also convenient for one of the Camel Trail's favourite watering holes.
Friendly helpful service, sound bikes with no mechanical issues for the four adults and a good child seat the 2 year old.
Lovely ride to Padstow and back along the Camel Trail, with lovely views along the river, even if it did rain a bit on the return.
Though nothing to do with this review, a big shout-out to our five year old Grandson, who managed the whole 23plus miles on his own gearless bike.

The best cycle hire we have used and we have been coming to Cornwall for 15 years.
Martin was more than helpful and very pleasant to deal with. Parking was very good.
Only danger was that the sat nav post code lead us astray.
Just head for the pub carpark.

A great family experience with lovely views. Recommend trying the Camel trail. Explore by bike was a great company to use. Helpful and friendly.

Much easier start and pick-up point than Wadebridge which for us was a big advantage… ample parking too. bikes all worked to perfection, dog carrier was brilliant and our BT was settled and calm through out the whole trip.. friendly and welcoming service highly recommend

My family and I cycled from Bodmin to Wenfordbridge. Weather wasn't great, a bit drizzly, but we still had lots of fun. Hiring from Explore by Bike was very slick - the bikes were ready for us even though we were nearly an hour early to collect them. Provided with helmets, paniers etc.. and then set set off to Wenfordbridge. Beautiful trail following the River Camel. Stopped for drink at the Snails Pace Café before coming back to Bodmin. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, despite the weather!

BIKES were all ready to go friendly service and very helpful if you need any guidance. Accommodating when you last minute need to change 2 bikes to a tandem
Bodmin camel trail was great for the less experienced rider mostly flat to the snails cafe 5 miles down the road. Beautiful scenery.
I will certainly be going back.

Fab day out from Bodmin to Padstow return. The E-bikes we used were excellent, quite lightweight and easy to use without power. We only used the boost for the return journey. This is a relatively level and easy ride with varied scenery. We were sorted out with all the equipment we needed and enjoyed a great day, nearly entirely off-road except a short stretch in Wadebridge. The surfacing is pretty good and there are few dangers for kids. Checkout the Camel Trail Tea Room soon after you leave Bodmin or just before you return. Thoroughly recommend Explore by Bike

Great tour with good bikes - and nice nature all around. 10 points - and don't forget to give the winery a visit! You won't starve or die of thirst on the route.
