A very beautiful old Church with amazing history and information about the plague town. Nice memorials to the lost and this who helped. A must to visit.

Lovely place. We visited the church, and then had a walk around the village to see the old houses. Plenty of information signs everywhere that tell the grim but fascinating story of Eyam plague village and it's victims. We finished at the Riley graves, - a beautiful spot, only a short walk out of the the village. Parking isn't great.

Picturesque little church full of history! This beautiful church takes pride of place in Eyam. Storyboards on the inside detail the story and effects that the plague had on the village & villagers in 1666 and the sacrifices that villages made to try and contain the spread of the plague.
Thought provoking & quite rightly still playing an important role in the village, this church is definitely well worth a visit!

A beautiful church that gives you lots of information and the history of the plague.Explaining how brave the villagers were.You can also see the plague stained glass window .

Ryan’s story is all about its isolation during the Great Plague of 1665/66. The church was central to that story and it tells it well. Rightly it is one of the most visited churches in England.

A beautiful church and churchyard just full of the most wonderful history. The stained glass windows are lovely and the graves very moving. Absolutely worth a visit.

We had been recommended to visit this church. We weren't disappointed. With muffled bells tolling following the death of our Queen. A memorial window for the plague; a window that looked modern, but was remade having been broken in a storm. The volunteer was so informative. Signed tge commemorative book following the death of Quuen Elizabeth.

The rector was about to close the church but he very kindly not only gave us an extra ten minutes to come in and take a look around but he told us the history of the area, using the stained glass window to explain the story (a sad but ultimately very inspiring tale).
Really appreciated his kindness, this is a special place and clearly a close-knit community.
