Nice quiet beach ideal for a walk or jog plenty of room not over run with beach huts but there are a couple there if that’s your thing

Very peaceful, calm beach with clean water. Visited by very less people, who mostly reside in nearby resorts or home stays. Mornings are awesome here. And late evening sunset with some food on the shacks nearby.. they just create a different vibe.
Also, go to this beach in the night in December and you will find glowing algae here.

The shacks/restaurants owners do not treat Indians very well.

Great beach in South Goa for relaxing with family and friends with peace. You can also enjoy the good food in the beach sacks.

After the bustling north, the southern beach of Betalbatim and neighboring Majorda are simply paradise. The beach is wide and clean, walking on the crisp sand is a pleasure.

A beautiful beach visited 3 times at sunset time last week it has many restaurants and activities ample parking auto are available from the beach but if you are going to spend sn hour or less it is better to hire an auto or cab for return journey

Betalbatim beach is one of the best in South Goa. It is not as crowded here as in Kolva. The coast is completely covered with soft, light-colored sand. From time to time, dolphins swim to the coastline. The beach is regularly cleaned, there is a lifeguard, as well as shacks... There is no entertainment on the beach, but there is no fuss and crowds. This oasis of harmony and peace is preferred by calm travelers.

Biggest beach in Goa plenty of Place and no crowd. There are few couples here and there but not much of people. Shaks are available

I have visited here once and Loved the beauty peaceful, Not much of crowd and You enjoy best of the sunset.

As a photographer I did lot of beachwear shoots in Betalbatim Beach and found it is less crowded and pistine.

Good beach, unfortunately Indians are not allowed as well as the foreigner. Indians allowed only if you use the shacks on the beach.

Yes this is the right time to visit Goa and it’s beach. The crowd is less and weather friendly.

How to travel to Old Goa using local bus from Coconut Grove? The taxis there kind of looting people. Demanding 2500/- for 6 hours and that too the spots are decided by them. You can't tell them which locations you want to travel. Without 2 wheeler license or a car you are stranded.

I am sorry I dont check notifications and am seeing this query 4 months too late.
Taxis are one of the pain points of Goa and there is no solution. The unions are all powerful and law unto themselves. The only option is to hire a self drive car or 2 wheeler and have the freedom to go anywhere at your convenience.
There is movement to re-start Ola. The unions had managed to block it but i hope the re-start movement succeeds. I dont think Bus would be very efficient.

The Coconut Grove Resort is on the Betalbatim beach itself. You directly walk onto the beach from the resort.
There are a couple of shacks which offer good food and drinks at fairly reasonable prices on the beach. The village outside the resort is about 3-4 kms away, and this is like a secluded resort.

Baga beach is a beach of North Goa and as well known characters of North Goa beaches this beach is also over crowded.
Betalbatim beach is situated in South Goa and it is very calm, quiet and clean. You can enjoy wonder sea-bath here.
So according to my opinion if I am asked to answer your question, I must say that Betalbatim beach is 100% better and enjoyable beach than Baga as I dislike crowd.
