We had an excellent day, we visited several beaches and we saw birds and seals. The instructors are friendly and explain everything very well before starting the ride. The kayaks are very well equipped. The best way to go along the coast of Abel Tasman Park

What a fabulous afternoon kayaking from Observation beach back to Mārahau. We chose the afternoon delight guided tour leaving at noon, water taxi to the beach for lunch then off. We saw seals on Adele island then paddled to Stilwell beach for a delicious hot chocolate and swim.
Back into the kayaks, into a cave or 2 before the afternoon breeze picked up enough to raft all the kayaks together and hoist a sail which took us back most of the way home.
Lovely relaxed afternoon made special by excellent staff.
Highly recommend.

We had a great experience with Kahu kayak. Staff are super friendly. It was our first ever kayak experience with little swimming skill. At first, we were quite anxious but our super helpful guide (Kurt) made us relaxed and made our trip so memorable. He was so patient in guiding us. The kayak ride was around 1 hour each side. When we arrived in the split apple rock beach, he made us a perfect coffee and gave us some time to swim and play. He even arranged a game for us that was so fun. In summary, Kurt did far beyond his job and we are very thankful for that. This is a must do actively in the Northern part of South Island and Kahu kayak is a great and trusted place for that. Highly recommended!

The wife and I had an absolute blast, what a truly wonderful day! Couldn't recommend enough! Ella was friendly, flexible, and a great guide, and everything went perfectly. Wear sunscreen though!

Thanks for a really great guided afternoon kayak. We can recommend the trip from observation bay beach back to Marahau. Kayaking around Adele and Fisherman's island was a highlight - lots of seals and interesting beaches. Just be prepared for a solid kayak back to Marahau. Thanks so much to Ella for being a great guide - very friendly & relaxed with lots of good info about the area. Week definitely be back for another trip.

Great service!
I booked the day before..just ringing Tony..he was so helpful and friendly and accommodating.
Philip and Georgia were excellent tour guides. They get along well, have got their own area of expertise and shared it with us fellow paddlers.. we learnt about birds, local history and geology while paddling!
We felt very safe too as they accepted to turn around a bit earlier following their boss’ recommendation over the talkie walkie.
I also enjoyed the prep time before and social time afterwards.
We paddled for 3 hours and I was gently sore the next day!

We found this locally owned company friendly, knowledgeable and competent. We did the one day Serenity tour, which is a perfect blend of all Abel Tasman has to offer: beaches, hiking, wildlife and kayaks. Our guides knew the spots, so we saw lots of seals, feeding, grooming and chilling, a fun arch pass through, and a perfect latte on the beach! We got the right amount of guiding but also freedom to linger. Would go with them again.

Fantastic day out. Would definitely recommend even in the off season, as we were toasty warm in our kayaks and had the national park virtually to ourselves. Thank you to Brad, who went out of his way to make sure we were safe, comfortable and having fun. Highlight was interacting with some curious sea lion pups!

While Kajaking you cannot swim as you are very professionally „attached“ to the kajak. However, the half day kajak/half day walking tour gives you some time to swim after the walk at a beautiful beach.
