To see this lake. The process is tough. It will be close to 8 degrees steep up to 40 ~ 50 minutes. Your foot will be good. This lake is protected and controlled.

This review is addressed to Closillon Tours:
Horrible organization to get in the taxi.
No information regarding parking availability.
Working in the morning, I find myself offering a Sunday birthday to my parents and grandparents in the afternoon. No parking space. Security won't even let us drop people off at the Flon.
Results we have to pay 84 francs only for the shuttle between parking lots.
The taxi I had booked, at a considerable Award, arrived 30 minutes late. Besides, I booked it for 6, there were only 4 seats in the jeep. My grandmother on my mother's legs. She ended up with a bruise on her thigh. And me on my dad's legs, I ended up with a bump on my head. No one would have dared do that to cattle.
If you want to have a good day
Go with people in good physical condition or be rich.
And I forgot to mention that the shuttle staff, although they were more honest than the tour cloister organizers, took the liberty of making a comment. At the Scam Award I would have dispensed with his remark we accuse of having arrived too late.

A superb hike that arrives on this lake in the middle of the mountains. You can swim in the lake which is very nice! Restaurants are present around the lake.

Magnificent lake after a very steep climb. We were also directed to the Chavalon parking lot by security who told us that there were shuttles. Given the price and the people waiting, we opted to go on foot and this adds 8-9km to the walk to the lake (even with the very steep shortcut through the forest). We were well received once up at the inn where we ate well. Homemade cold tea 👍 To do again but from the Flon car park!

Be aware the walk from the carpark is 400m of either vertical woodland walking and in places uneven. Or go via the road (no tarmac) which is very steep in places. Says 40mins but we did it in 50 and I had to stop a few times. Once at the lac I read to go right and anti clockwise around the lake. I disagree, we went left, clockwise and saved the final epic views until last. Few restaurants but we also took plenty of water and a picnic. It's fabulous but a tough walk. Don't be fooled if others say it's easy. IT IS NOT.

It is a magnificent place, full of tranquility. The restaurants and cabins found on site are very beautiful and help preserve the natural nature of the place.
An unforgettable experience was in contracting a self-service sales place with some native products (cheese, cream,...) and that put trust in the visitor.

Magnificent place after an hour's walk from the "Miex-Le Flon" car park, a fairly steep climb but what beautiful images when you arrive at the top!!

Vers la navette (plus de place sur le parking)
28 frs a 2 pour se rendre au départ de la randonnée franchement exagéré au retour nous avons pris la navette public qui nous a coûté seulement 7frs en contrepartie nous avons marché 15 min

Local de rara beleza. É imperdível. Para os amantes de trilhas e lugares únicos.
Ponto negativo é o pseudo responsavel pela estrada, que informa que nao ha lugares no estacionamento e oferece o serviço de uma van, particular, que oferece o translado por 14 francos/pessoa. Quando se chega ao local do estacionamento e inicio da trilha a pe, percebe-se que é um engodo e ha varios locais para estacionar. Nao sei se há conluio com as autoridades locais, mas sem duvida é um desrespeito com o turista

Accès par la route fermé. La navette du parking jusqu'au village est hors de prix (17.-/personne, 10.-/enfant), soit 54.- pour une famille de 2 adultes et 2 enfants, c'est du vol organisé!!!
Nous avons fait demi-tour. 😖😤
J'espère que la commune trouvera une solution plus acceptable pour les promeneurs que de se faire racketter.

Si on monte avec notre 4x4 et qu'on trouve que c'est trop difficile y a t'il des endroits sur le chemin où on peut faire demi-tour? Merci

Bonjour, tout d'abord, c'est dommage de monter en 4x4, la montée à pieds est belle...
Mais oui il y a des endroits où il est possible de faire demi-tour mais si trouvez la montée trop difficile, faire demi-tour et redescendre le sera aussi... Avec un "vrai" 4x4 aucun souci, il y a également un service de taxi juste avant le parking qui propose une montée en 4x4 (aucune idée du prix par contre).

Bonjour, nous souhaitons savoir si cette randonnée est conseillée à un enfant de 3 ans et une femme enceinte? Le papa lui, est plutôt randonneur aguerri. Je comprends que la pente est raide, mais je me dis que c'est qu'une heure de marche, au pire on la fera en 2 heures. Est-il possible de s'assoir / se reposer sur le chemin? Le chemin est il ombragé? Si vous l'avez fait avec votre enfant en bas age je suis super preneuse de votre retour d'expérience! Merci !!

On peut s'asseoir sur des troncs d'arbres et oui c'est assez ombragé sur le chemin sauf au bord du lac. Mais la forêt n'est pas loin.
