It is said that it was the favorite beach of Prince Aga Khan, (known in fact as "Prince's Beach") chosen for the wonder of the fine white sand and its crystal clear waters, with colors ranging from green to blue, whose shine comes from the shallow bottom of sand and granite. Here the Aga Khan, it seems he wanted to build his own villa, which did not happen.
Today a preserved and unique area that to reach it takes a 15-20 minute walk in the middle of nature.

One of the most beautiful beaches in the municipality of Arzachena, can be reached starting from the large parking lot along – in about 10 minutes – a short path downhill slightly that connects the large parking lot to the small bay that protects the beach.
It goes without saying that its beauty and fame mean that, in the summer, overcrowding makes it difficult to use it, while going there (like myself) in September, you can fully enjoy its beauty while enjoying relaxing days at sea.
The lack of toilets nearby and the parking with a daily rate of EUR 12.50 are the two negative aspects to take into account (more the first than the second), but the beach that in the early 1960s fascinated Prince Aga Khan Shah Karim Al Husayni to such an extent that it prompted him to invest large sums of money to enhance this area of the Gallura coast (hence the name of the beach), is worth a visit.

The most beautiful beach we have visited.
It has a paid park, and has difficult access on foot, but only 10min, at the end of the walk compensates for the beauty of the beach with calm and crystal clear water and very white sand.

Dreamlike little beach with perfect view-water. Can be very crowded in high season.
From the paid parking lot the way to the beach is only good then it becomes a bit more difficult (especially for older people with physical impairment).

Spectacular beach, with white sand and clear blue sea, perfect for relaxing and safe for all ages. Certainly one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia. Access from the parking lot to the beach (via trail) is fast (5-10 minutes), but offers risk of falling.

Beautiful beach.. The beautiful sea and fresh water.. The bad thing... Services are lacking and people are forced to use the surrounding greenery as a toilet.

i think some of the 1 star reviews are unfair. this is a beautiful place. yes you have to walk down a craggy path to get there and then back up. you really should wear sneakers but we saw lots of people managing in flip flops. be careful. it’s rugged but we made it back up in 8 mins and i’m 63 - really it’s not bad. water is crystal clear. gorgeous spot. kind of crowded but it was sunday afternoon.

The pictures of white sand and crystal clear water can look like a Caribbean beach. But surprisingly, this is the most beautiful beach on the Emerald Coast, north of Sardinia. There is an access trail, which can be traveled in about fifteen minutes. But it pays a lot.

Big disappointment! It takes almost 15 minutes of winding trail to get to the beach. The parking lot in front of the trail starts at €12.50 from half a day. The beach is nothing special as a sea, but it is very crowded even at the end of September because it is very small. We have seen the attendants take the measurements of the beach so you can hear entrance air for a fee even on the beach. Arzachena to which the beach belongs no longer knows how to make money between paid beach and always paid parking. That it's pulling too much strings.
Also the surrounding pine forest dirty and there are no toilets and the beach is full of street vendors with lots of stalls!

Beautiful but very crowded, if you do not arrive at 8 there is only a seat in the third fourth row because 'very small. Maybe it’s okay for mid-October but I have my doubts. I imagine in August, a chaos!! the water is transparent and full of fish, the gray sand that gives the water a light green color. From the paid parking (12.50 euro full day) for a path of 800 meters you get to the beach. The last 300 meters are rough. We discovered that passing through Romazzino and ‘much easier. The beach, now that it’s 10.30 and’ already full and it’s the end of September, in an hour we will have to run away!😂😂

Il secondo parcheggio ti permette di prendere la strada più agevole. Oggi però l hanno sistemata e con la terra battuta farai fatica a spingere il passeggino. Il primo accesso te lo sconsiglio. Oltretuttoil primo ha un costo di 18€ mentre il secondo 7.50€giornaliero

Gentile Tania, mi può dare informazioni in più sul parcheggio successivo della spiaggia del principe che è anche più accessibile? L'accesso è dalla provinciale o un continuo della strada bianca? Visto da "Google Maps" non si nota... Grazie, spero che arrivi in tempo la risposta dato che martedi 11 settembre sarò lì in zona.

Scusate ho letto che la spiaggia del principe non è dotata di servizi igienici .Neanche al parcheggio mi sembra impossibile ?

non esistono nessun servizio igienico.
Le consiglio la spiaggia del grande pevero dove la strada d'accesso è più agevole e la spiaggia è dotata dei servizi igienici.
