Shameful; facilities closed (except the school camp), but on the official Kronplatz website and the Superski app everything is open, without any mention of the danger of closing for wind. We drove 130 km and 2 hours for nothing. 9.40 am, we have been here for half an hour and on the site it is still (falsely) all open.

Excellent ski resort where you get your money's worth with a 41%-55% share of open ski slopes and lifts. The all-round view at the summit is amazing and there is already a lot going on in the pre-season. There were many open ski huts and restaurants. It was really a unique experience and we would love to come back.

We went in may and the wether was perfect to walk.Beautifull places and views, close to Brunico, nice town in the north of Italy, and good ways to go, buses etcetc

I am regular guest for over 10 years. Today’s slope preparation was terrible allthough weather conditions during the night were good for preparation. Due to daiky bad weather forecast they probaly assumed there will be less skiers, so why bother. Black slopes Herrnegg and Sylvester were dangerous to ski already at 10:00 in the morning. Due to high ticket prices that aditute is unprofessional to say the least. I wrote a letter of complaint also to official email, bit did not get any reply or explanation. Too bad.

a very large ski area, which also has a very large catchment area. Therefore, it is already very busy in January. Unfortunately, many people no longer observe the necessary safety rules when using the slopes. Up at Kronplatz you have a great panoramic view.

Slopes in terrible conditions. 18.01. Waste of time and money , 19.01. They took care of only the bottom part of the slope visible from the parking spot so people come in.

The ski slopes are terrible we couldn't ski properly, there were snow piles everywhere,
There was no warning about this situation.it is very dangerous to ski. It was a waste of time and money.

Generally, slopes are not in best shape even when there is no snowfall during the night. If there was snowfall during the night, like on 18.01, the ski slopes are in terrible condition. The worst thing is that there is no warning and it is very dangerous to ski.

the ski tracks are not cleared, there are piles of snow on every meter, it is impossible to ski, there were no warnings about the situation on slopes

Pure snow and all the slopes in top condition. Perfect conditions as always.

Hi, we are staying in Riscone, so is it possible and how to get to Alta Badia and ski through the Sella ronda and come back to Riscone, all in one day?

P.S. we would like to avoid skiing down do Piculin- we heard it’s very difficult..

Apologies for delay. Very do-able ! Don’t worry about Piculin because you can take gondola down. Bus is easy to Alta Badia although leave plenty time to work your back before last bus. Well worth doing !

Is there a small village near the ski resort? I see that Brunneck is very far (45 min by car). Which would be a good town to stay?close enough but with options of nearby restaurants to enjoy a good dinner. Do we need to rent a car?

Go to Olang and you will find good spot for you. Near the ski slopes and with some hotels and restaurants. There is a ski bus to the ski slopes.
