Had an amazing experience at Tenuta Casanova winery!! There were exotic animals, fantastic dishes, and the best wines. I would absolutely recommend Tenuta Casanova to everyone!!

Quiet get away in the heart of Tuscany

I've had the privilege of visiting Tenuta Casanova 4 or 5 times over the years. Each time is special, and Rita & Silvano are incredible hosts. The views are spectacular, and the products are outstanding! My favorite is the olive oil and balsamic, especially the 30 year old. Haven't been able to get back recently, but we will definitely be going again soon!!

Afternoon Delight

Our visit to Tenuta Casanova was an afternoon delight. This was my favorite overall food/wine experience in Tuscany. This farming family & their associates were so knowledgeable about their lifestyle & products. The owner's aspiring winemaker son Ricardo is a gentleman & a scholar. The grounds offer an intoxicating & romantic atmosphere. The food was quite delicious & paired so thoughtfully to boast the full flavor of the oil, honey, truffles & wine. Highly recommend this Tuscan experience in the heart of Chianti Classico.

Sioban was an amazing host

Provided an informative tour and spectacular lunch with a taste of his high quality wines.

His Sangiovese is one of the best I have ever had.

Best wine tasting ever

We did a wine tasting that included lunch. The wine was delicious and the food was a fantastic paring. Our guide Francesca was wonderful and the owner, Silvano shared more information! Actually, every person we spoke with shared cooking tips and advice that we’ll bring home with us. The wine was great, there was no sales pressure and we can’t wait to enjoy it in our own home when it arrives! The history of the vineyard was amazing. We would go back in a heart beat and next time do a cooking class! Grazie mille

Amazing experience.

We had a tour of the cellar and a lunch with paired wines. I have had several wine lunches in France before but this is the best by a mile!! You really feel welcome and the lunch is a very enjoyable experience in a great setting. The wines, balsamic and olive oil that is produced here is exceptional. I made several purchases and can’t wait to try them when I get home. If you are thinking of doing a lunch with paired wines give this a try you won’t be disappointed.

Tuscan Perfection - the wine, food, farm and people!

This was the highlight of our 9 days in Tuscany! My husband and I reserved a lunch with wine tasting. It blew our minds! Best food, gracious hosts, incredible wine and the property was STUNNING! We loved it so much - we asked if they do dinners as we were leaving. They accommodated us on the spot and said they would prepare an incredible 10 course dinner with wine for our party of 4. This was with 2 days notice! They went out of their way to make everything perfect. The food was different from our lunch and once again, the best meal of our lives. We ended up shipping a case of wine, along with their olive oil and balsamic vinegar back to the US. Beyond the food and wine - the owners are down to earth people who take pride in their product and their mission to help underprivileged children in Africa. They want people to come and have a memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experience at their farm. This was accomplished for me - not once but twice. Tenuta Casanove is more like something you see in a movie. But trust me, it's real life. Run here...don't walk...and soak up everything Tuscany, its food, its wine and its warm people have to offer. We cannot wait to return to this spot!

Lunch and wine tasting

Pure wine heaven!

Second time we are here. The food is still great and so are, of course, the wine! The dincanto of 2012 we bought during our visit in 2018 was maybe one of the best wine I ever tasted!! But the 2007 vintage we tasted this time was pure heaven. I am so glad to be the proud owner of a magnum bottle of this vintage (which is not available anymore atm)

Silvano and Rita were the perfect hosts!

Silvano and his staff were the perfect hosts. His knowledge about wine and balsamic vinegar far exceeded any expectations we had. The tour was wonderful, the tasting and food pairings were amazing and Rita’s lasagna was to die for! Next visit I want to take a cooking class! The scenery is spectacular! This is a must for wine lovers of all ages! ❤️❤️
