Best day of our three week vacation! Frederico was on time, friendly, his home was beautiful and clean. We cooked, we laughed, we learned to cook five different Italian meals and then shared it with some wine and lemon cello on his deck overlooking the port town!
After our meal Frederico took us on a personal tour of the area for three hours and dropped us back to the port entrance. Fantastic day!!

A amazing experience! We met Frederico outside the port and he took us to the location,after we stopped at a local coffee and pastry shop! The view from the location is beautiful. We got right to work making Tiramisu. The we also made bolognese sauce, margherita pizza, eggplant parmigiana, and gnocchi. Frederico made us feel welcomed from the start. He has a great sense of humor and likes to kid around in the kitchen. The food was fantastic. I highly recommend this class, you won’t be disappointed!

What a delightful way to spend 1/2 day! Federico met us at the cruise port which was so helpful. While I wrote down the recipe, my husband learned how to properly cook bolognese sauce, gnocchi, pizza, a grilled vegetable appetizer, eggplant parm, and of course, tiramisu! We then sat down to enjoy this feast with Federico and his wife Tracy, also a chef. His English is excellent, but his sense of humor is even better. BONUS-Since it was raining and we had no other plans, he quickly arranged a tour for us with a driver showing us the highlights of the neighboring villages. This was definitely a highlight of our trip- we HIGHLY recommend it!

Fantastic experience. Food was awesome and the cooking was easy to follow even for a novice. Everything was fresh and delicious. Federico even arranged for a tour of Lake Bolsenia and the surrounding area. We can’t wait to do this again next time In Civitavecchia.

Oh my gosh! I can't say enough great things! From being picked up at the dock, being made to feel so welcomed and invited, beautiful views from the class location, FANTASTIC FOOD with tips when making it at home, to suggestions and helps with reservations for other activities while in the area. This was one of the best experiences on our 2 week vacay! Book it early as it's a small group experience!

Brilliant experience - learn how to cook Italian with Federico.
We were on a cruise and did not want to go to Rome in 36 degrees heat with millions of other tourists. So we chose this and it was one of THE best days of our trip.
We were welcomed so warmly into Federicos home and we cooked several dishes - so much fun. Then we all ate together on his patio and chatted with him, his lovely partner and 3 others.
He picked us up at the port terminal and dropped us back at the ship.
A presto! 🇮🇹

Our family of 4 with two teenage daughters had an amazing time with Chef Federico. He is so patient and kind and made the experience so much fun. We cooked more food than we could possibly eat, after walking the local market with him.
We truly enjoyed this experience as one of the highlights of our trip and felt like we were relaxing with family. We highly recommend this experience!

Excellent cooking class and experience in Civiatavecchia with friendly chef Frederico.. delicious healthy authentic Italian food cooked from scratch with the instruction of Frederico. Also had a trip to the local market and learnt some history of the area. The food was truly delicious and the whole experience is highly recommended!
We cooked fried zucchini flowers ( truly delicious) zucchini and aubergine parmigiana ( also delicious) made caprese salad, bolognaise sauce and gnocchi all from scratch ( what’s not to like?!) and finished the meal off with a tiramisu made to nonna’s own recipe. Truly delicious and a great experience when visiting civiatavecchia.
Frederico was great at keeping in touch and picked us up and dropped us back off at the port too..

Chef Federico promptly picked us up and returned us to the cruise pier as planned. Fabulous experience in his spotless and inviting home. We were hands on preparing the meal all while teaching us techniques for better preparation and cooking the Italian way. Excellent value , fun experience. We recommend to everyone! Thank you Chef Federico for a memorable and fun experience! -The Miller’s
