Two snow hikes guided by Enrico were the highlights of our trip. He was friendly and had many years of experience hiking in the area so he was able to share both the hikes and the history of the area. When snow conditions closed the Fanes Waterfalls we’d originally planned to hike, he was able to change to a different beautiful hike that suited our group perfectly. Our Cinque Torri hike was spectacular. It was challenging and Enrico provided choices for difficulty, coaching us through our selected route.

A phenomenal day with Enrico, the aim was to get an expert to teach us the basics of via ferrata so we could continue ourselves. Enrico did this and so much more, the route selection was incredible and we couldn’t have asked for anymore! Thank you!

We had the pleasure of being guided by Enrico 2 days. First we did the Ferrata Ra Gusela and had the most amazing views!! Enrico was very kind, patient and explained as much or as little as we wanted. Our first ferrata experience had us wanting more, so a couple of days later we did the Ferrata degli Alpini. It’s among the coolest and most challenging activity we have done. We are not climbers, but Enrico was encouraging and supportive every step of the way and made us feel safe while clinging to the side of a mountain. There isn’t a better guide. He couldn’t have been more perfect for us. He also took so many great photos of our days together! I will cherish the memories we made.

Thank you Enrico for showing us the ropes (literally!) as we tackled our first ever Via Ferrata! Despite being newbies, we both felt very safe under your guidance. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and passion for the Dolomites with us. We appreciated our chit chats along the way (and at lunch!) and we are so happy we got to know you! After an early season snow storm, Enrico picked us up the following morning at our Cortina hotel. We had an approximate 25 minute drive thru a snow covered, fairytale, forest to the start of the via Ferrata at Rifugio D’Aosta (home of a World Cup ski event). We climbed one of the two rock pillars that looks over the course (Ra Bujela). I was with my 27 year old son who has rock climbing experience but has never done a via Ferrata. I have never done anything like this and felt totally safe with Enrico leading the way. The three of us were tied in together and he explained how to clip on & off and provided all the safety equipment (helmet, gloves, harness, & via Ferrata kit). He kept telling jokes the entire time to lighten the mood when he saw that I was panicking a few times. He was very encouraging! While I did panic a few times, not so much from the height (& it was high), but more from doubting myself physically, it was exhilarating and provided a massive sense of accomplishment in the end! I would highly recommend Enrico & Guide Dolomiti when visiting the Dolomites!

My 13 year old daughter and I spent three fabulous days being guided by Enrico (via Ferrata) in August 2024. He was very helpful with planning what we should do in those three days, and lent us all the equipment we needed. Most importantly he was kind, patient, encouraging, and gave us a wonderful time in the mountains. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Enrico was a fantastic via ferrata guide. He is kind, funny, and very skilled as a mountain guide. We felt very safe with him and it was a great way to experience the beautiful nature of the Dolomites through a via ferrata activity in addition to all of the hiking that we did on our own during our stay. As a cherry on top, Enrico took beautiful pictures of us throughout the via ferrata and hike, which was extremely thoughtful. I would recommend hiring Enrico to everyone looking for a unique Dolomites adventure!

I'm sorry you had trouble finding my house, but it is accurately marked on Google Maps.
Please provide me with more information about the issue you encountered, as I understand how frustrating it can be for those trying to find me not to have precise directions.
As you can see, the reviews on Guide Dolomiti are all very positive, and a review like yours certainly doesn't help me. Why didn't you call me? The directions on Google Maps are very clear; you just needed to look for the house number and ring the doorbell, which clearly says Enrico Maioni - Guide Dolomiti.

I do not organize the "Alta Via 1", I'm sorry.
There are not difficult/technical sections on the Alta Via1, and you can do it by your own. But, of course, you are on the mountains. Experience in hiking is required.

August is very crowded, better to avoid this month.
