Íbamos a hacer la ruta hasta subir a 5 torre, que si no me equivoco eran unas 3 horas ida y vuelta por un camino fácil. Cuando llegamos al inicio de la ruta vimos que estaba todo el sendero nevado, por lo que tuvimos que cambiar de planes.
🚘Las carreteras estaban despejadas de nieve porque pasaban constantemente quitanieves y en muy buen estado. Aparcamos en el parking del teleférico de manera gratuita.
🚠El teleférico nos costó 24e pp ida y vuelta. Caro como me parecen todos. Una vez allí nos dimos un paseo para disfrutar del paisaje.
Una maravilla!

This year too we had confirmation, and it couldn't be otherwise, of how the Cinque Torri constitute a world unto themselves, a true unicum, in terms of beauty and morphology, in the boundless Dolomite region. Always exciting and of great visual impact in their continuously different perspectives, the towers must be admired by making a complete tour of them and looking for them from a distance during excursions in the nearby territories. Absolutely worth visiting, also because, despite their imposing and massive appearance, they are not eternal and occasionally suffer some collapses.

We were in March a few years ago, with snow. Chair lift up to Rifugio Scoiattoli, then around the then 5 Torri, easy, only slippery in one point where the snow was frozen... But easy and beautiful, fortunately with the sun. Then lunch at the Scoiattoli!

Of all the trails we had prepared, this was the one that surprised us the most. We paid for the corresponding cable car (you can walk up... crazy) and we contemplated a beautiful landscape with a simple route but that will allow you to touch the colossal towers. You will also see small recreations related to World War II that will give the trail a cultural as well as a natural character. Essential

At dawn, when the mountain tops turn from gray to pink,
when the sun's rays hit and slowly illuminate the valley..
The colors light up,
The flowers slowly rise...
here ..that here, in the midst of so much beauty, and the majesty of these 5 Towers,
you feel you are in symbiosis with something divine...
Among other things, here is the open-air museum of the Great War with trenches and barracks reconstructed in the spaces and in the ways

If you pass through Cortina this place is really a must see. Whether you are a hiker or not, you will be captivated by the beauty of the surrounding massifs, by the agility of the mountaineers on the steep walls of the towers. We did the tour of the towers hike. Be careful, it is not always very well signposted and there is a fairly narrow and chaotic passage
In addition, the restaurant terrace is nice and we ate very well there.

During the excursion along the Sotecordes Path (see review) we observed the stupendous and changing landscape, stopping to admire the Five Towers, which from our route appeared in a truly singular but still fascinating perspective, almost as if it were a ruined castle full of mystery.

Stunning walk. Very doable for all ages. Interesting to walk the WW1 trenches, can't even imagine the horror those poor soldiers had to ensure!! Walking around was reasonably easy and didn't take more than a couple of hours. Highly recommend.

5* for the site: if you only take the climb at €18 (50% increase in 2 years!) The descent is doable, the parking at the bottom is free which is not always the case, the site is exceptional and inconceivable from below and the 14/18 theater of war with trenches and casemates is well worth a museum ticket. I add that the “restaurant” at the top is very affordable.
1* for the exorbitant price of €25 return. Scandalous! The confiscation of tourist sites for the richest always disgusts me. Come to France, the mountains are free (I'm thinking of other Italian sites). But there are people so economically, they are right.

Die Besteigung des in drei eng beieinanderstehende Gipfel gespaltenen höchsten Turms der Cinque Torri (Torre Grande d'Averau) ist für jeden einigermassen geübten, schwindelfreien (!) Berggänger unter Beachtung der gebührenden Vorsicht ohne grössere Probleme machbar. Super spannende, abenteuerliche Tour, welche aber leichte Kletterei im Schwierigkeitsgrad I erfordert. – Vom Rifugio Scoiattoli in wenigen Minuten zur Westwand des Turms. Zuerst hinein in den mächtigen Spalt, welcher den Nordgipfel vom Südgipfel trennt. Dann, sozusagen im Innern des Turms, über eine steile, gut gestufte Rampe links unschwierig hinauf zum flachen Gipfelplateau und links zum höchsten Punkt des Nordgipfels am westlichen Ende des Plateaus am Rande des schmalen, tiefen Spalts zwischen Nord- und Südgipfel. Abstieg auf demselben Weg. Zeitaufwand etwa 1:15 ab Rifugio zum Gipfel und zurück. (Der kaum zwei Meter höhere Südgipfel, bloss einen Steinwurf vom Nordgipfel entfernt, bleibt dem erfahrenen Bergsteiger vorbehalten. Leichteste Route durch die Westwand, Schwierigkeitsgrad II/III).

Questo luogo si raggiunge con la seggiovia quadriposto "5 Torri" che parte da Bai de Dones (tra Passo Falzarego e Cortina d'Ampezzo) e in 7 minuti arriva al Rifugio Scoiattoli.

Ciao JESSICA 12 vi consiglio di pernottare al Rifugio Scoiattoli che è proprio all'arrivo della risalita in seggiovia,salire di primo pomeriggio aspetttare il tramonto fare splendide foto e fare un'ottima cena al rifugio,pernottare e visto che siete li alzarvi di buon'ora e fare foto sicuramente fantastiche delle Cinque Torri all'alba,io di certo farei così, magari può essere un'idea per voi.

Dovrei andare a metà agosto.
Leggevo che in quel periodo non è possibile raggiungere in auto il rifugio sotto le 5 torri.
Come si po raggiungere?
C'è una funivia?

Buongiorno, c'è la comodissima seggiovia "Cinque Torri" che dai pressi del Rifugio Bai de Dones (con ampio parcheggio) sale in breve al Rifugio Scoiattoli (2225 m).
Bai de Dones è prima del Passo Falzarego venendo da Cortina.
Già da qui si ha una bella vista sulle Cinque Torri (2138 m), che comunque si raggiungono in pochi minuti a piedi su larga stradina in discesa.
Ad agosto l'impianto è aperto di sicuro, conviene tuttavia consultare preventivamente il sito web per avere conferma su date, orari e prezzi.

We are planning to visit the area in September and would like to do an easy hike to see the beautiful views and also see the WWII open air museum. I've read you can drive up an unpaved road to the area and hike from there? Wondering how to find out more about the hiking and access prior to our arrival. Thanks!
