A really nice surprise. The sanctuary is kept very well. We arrived at mass started and there were so many people it was not possible to enter. We then decided to follow the Via Crucis, a well-kept path adorned with large statues representing the main episodes of the story of Jesus, very suggestive, but not for everyone there are both steps and normal road but they are very steep. We also visited the source where you can take water (not drinking) and were told you can dip your toes. The complex is well maintained, with many mosaics, it is worth a visit if you are in zona.Il sanctuary remains in the historic part of Giulianova

Returning from a tour of Abruzzo we stopped in Giulianova and went to visit the Sanctuary. Upon arrival the beautiful Portico del Rosario, then the wonderful feeling offered by the visit to the Temple of Water

Luogo incantevole! Very beautiful from an architectural point of view both internally and externally rich in colorful mosaics. The Way of the Cross is also beautiful. It is a place of peace and devotion, with many times to approach the sacraments of confession and the Eucharist. There is the possibility to enter the source of Our Lady and dip your feet and collect water. Very impressive view. The Sanctuary stands on top of the hill from which you can see the entire coast.

It 'a beautiful sanctuary located in the upper part of Giuliano where you can admire the sea, It has a large parking, a refreshment point and its interior and exterior are fabulous. For those who are in those parts should not miss a visit

Visited in August.
A really nice place also to get away from the sea area. The sanctuary is very well kept, clean and there is crazy silence. Perched on Giulianova Alta and surrounded by nature and the sea in the distance.
An additional tip: add small shuttles for people who perhaps cannot walk or who don't want to use the car.

the triumph of Kitsch but beautiful even if in 'bad taste', it is a Dannunzian place in the sense of too adorned, but worth seeing. A little away from the historic center of Giulianova, it was built in the sixteenth century (but the mosaics are modern) following one of the thousands of apparitions of the Madonna to a poor man and the consequent discovery of a water source which can still be visited (you can soak your feet). Overcrowded with statues. The one of the resurrected redeemer is interesting, finally not in pain on the cross but joyful and jubilant, looking like a hippy in a musical.

Really beautiful location with a large parking lot with a bar where you can have a drink and small snacks. The sanctuary is very beautiful with holy water foot bath and prayer facilities.

Sono salito al Santuario in auto, e solo dopo essere arrivato li ho capito che sarebbe stato possibile percorrere a piedi la via Crucis, con le sue meravigliose sculture che rappresentano tutte le sue stazioni. E' un luogo incantevole, ben curato e frequentato da molti turisti.
Dopo la visita, alla quale abbiamo abbinato un piccolo rituale di preghiera e di benedizione (nel luogo ove sarebbe avvenuta l'apparizione della Madonna), ci si può fermare ad ammirare il panorama di Giulianova direttamente dalla terrazza panoramica posta dinanzi la Chiesa.
Dopo la visita, alla quale abbiamo abbinato un piccolo rituale di preghiera e di benedizione (nel luogo ove sarebbe avvenuta l'apparizione della Madonna), ci si può fermare ad ammirare il panorama di Giulianova direttamente dalla terrazza panoramica posta dinanzi la Chiesa.

Bellissimo Santuario in collina, ottima vista sul mare, piacevole passeggiata nel giardino. Noi siamo arrivati in auto ma c’è anche un sentiero nel bosco che sale fino allo stesso.
