Very nice view but in the morning the sun is against.
The huts have higher prices than St. Mark's Square and the cable car in two costs 90 euros (too much) and parking 2.5 euros now.
Two eggs with four potatoes and two slices of speck 22 euros
A 0.75 liter bottle of water 4.5 euros (I'm talking about the refuge where you go down but the one below costs much more such as a polenta with mushrooms at 32 euros).
Honestly I will never go back, indeed, if I knew I would not have gone (there are so many beautiful views in the Dolomites with significantly lower costs).

The climb is very beautiful and fast... the Panarama is beautiful once you arrive.
Maybe a little expensive for two of us and the dog, we spent 87 euros there and back plus 13 euros for parking at the start

There are four different types of cable cars at SECEDA. We experienced on the four types of cable cars.
The first one took us from the base to a middle level. From there we went to the top most place in a huge cable car which could accommodate 50 people. After doing a two hours hike we embarked on an open cable car. After we disembarked we hiked for an hour and then boarded the last cable car which took us to the base.
It’s a great experience. Especially the open cable car.

If you are in the area, this is a must! I was thankful to other travelers who mentioned that they did this despite fear of heights. I had a few drinks of liquid courage in the restaurant at the base of the mountain before going up. The second cable car is the steep part. The first was really lovely! The second one is a quick ride so you can just be brave (with your whisky beforehand) and it will be worth it when you get up there! There is also a pub at the top, and a playground!

I am writing this review for those who want to take this lift, but have a fear of heights. My fear of heights is quite intense and I did fret over this ride quite a bit. However, I had no intention of missing the beautiful hikes at the top, so I made the decision to just do it. I was prepared with my earbuds, meditative music, husband's arm and sunglasses (eyes closed). The first part of the ride was not so bad. We had the gondola to ourselves, so not crowded nor did I have to worry about others moving around too much. The second part in the cable car was more intense for me, however, the ride is quite short and with my relaxation tools mentioned above, I did better than expected! When you get off the cable car at the top and the first thing you see are billowing clouds with rays of sunshines and mountain peaks that seem to never end, you will be so pleased you did the ride. What an amazing, breathtaking experience to be on these mountains.

Hello. I am planning on taking the tram to the top of Seceda with my two teenage daughters and my wife in June of next year. Is it best to book your tickets in advance or does it work just as well to buy them at the ticket office on the day you plan to ride? Thanks.
