I think the best drop on Ponza!
Parking at sea level, beach served or if you want, going further free, COMFORTABLE without steps, just a few rocks to overcome na worth it.

We spent a day in this wonderful cove on Recommendation of the girl who ran the B & B where we stayed.
The place is very convenient to reach both by local bus and by scooter, as we did, parking right down at the cove.
As soon as we arrived we were breathless by the beauty of the place, a crystal clear sea. Without a doubt the most beautiful cove!!
There is the possibility to take umbrellas and sunbeds and enjoy them throughout the day, even returning home for lunch. The place is super quiet, without much chaos.
It is also possible to rent a boat or a rubber boat for the day.
The icing on the cake was lunch. We ate at the kiosk which is right at the entrance to the cove on the left, where the lady, in addition to being super helpful, kind and nice prepared two huge and delicious friselle that conquered us.
We just spent a beautiful day and the sea together with the friselle of the lady, which unfortunately I do not know the name, will remain in our hearts:)

The place itself would be nice, but as soon as we arrived I had the idea it was overlooked, with boat remains here and there. There is no sand, only rock, so even carrying an umbrella is not easy to settle. Watch out for hedgehogs.
To reach it, we took the bus from the port and you get to the stop in about 15 minutes (of which the first 10 minutes are very crowded); then there is a downhill stretch of road (clearly more challenging at the pickup).

There are natural paradises that bewitch the sight of those who have the pleasure of seeing them with the naked eye. Cala dell'Acqua is the paradise par excellence, crystal clear water, unique panoramic views that stay with you.

Amazing water, however the ruins of the mine with concrete blocks, rusty irons and abandoned boat carcasses ruin everything. In Ponza there is much better.

Cala dell'Acqua is the only place in Ponza .... where you can get there by car. ..moped and also by bus....amazing water....there is no sand...but rocks....and this makes the place even more beautiful...with breathtaking views of Palmarola... highly recommended Tramonto....obligatory lunch with Mrs. Civita with her applause friselle.....fabulous coffee cream....thanks Ponza...thanks Civita...and thanks to all your staff who made my holiday ... UNFORGETTABLE

POSITION
Located in the old mining area after Cala Feola and the swimming pool area.
The area is full of old concrete structures from the quarry.
You arrive by boat or bus and then go down on foot or by car to the sea but in August 2023 there were no parking spaces as the area is a construction site, it seems that the water desalination plant for the 'island.
As soon as you arrive at the sea, on the right there is a sort of large "tub" but full of water that is not nice to look at and smells.
BEDS
There is an umbrella and deckchair rental service here as well as throughout the island.
There is no beach but only rocks and for the most part they are blocks of old concrete and gravel that perhaps served the quarry.
Be careful walking barefoot because the breach is sharp.
Getting onto the blocks with towels is difficult as they are all sharp edges.
RESTAURANT
There are refreshment points such as a van or small wooden structures.
DANGERS
Be careful of the various rusty iron pins protruding from the concrete blocks.
Along the cliff there is a rope and signs with posts that prohibit you from approaching the slopes.
We don't understand the usefulness of it since everyone positions themselves everywhere.
ASSESSMENT
We will not return to this cove which would only be appreciated from the boat but not from land. Uncomfortable on the shore for children both when entering and exiting the water

For me it is one of the most beautiful coves on the island of Ponza. A turquoise sea and rocks and allow you to enjoy the sun.

The Fragolone lady is fantastic.
Super friendly and with tuna, anchovies and homemade aubergines it delighted us, unforgettable.
I recommend tuna and cherry tomato sandwich and complete frisella, an undisputed hit.
