I commissioned Giancarlo from overseas to paint a portrait of my brother and his wife as a present for them and he did an AMAZING JOB! He was polite, respectful and communicated regularly throughout the process. He painted the portrait from a photo and the painting looked exactly like them! Also, the scenery in the painting was STUNNING! My bother and his wife are over the moon and will cherish it forever.
I am so happy with the painting and couldn’t recommend Giancarlo enough as an artist. Having commissioned the painting from overseas, it was great to have someone reliable and transparent to work with. He provided updates of the painting thought out the process, took my feedback into account, completed the painting in a timely manner and then sent the painting through the mail with a tracking number and receipt.

I visited the gallery and bought two very unique pieces. The art here feels authentic and curated so that it is not the same old, same old stuff in every other store. My watercolour was signed by artist/owner with a personalized message.

Guan Carlo’s work is incredible and he was so helpful as I searched through all his work. The painting I chose is so beautiful I will add a picture to the review as soon as I get the painting home and hung up.

Giancarlo was so friendly, and an incredibly talented artist. He spent time helping us find the right piece for our needs. I would recommend to anyone looking for art on the coast to stop by Giancarlo’s studio.

Giancarlo was so kind, friendly and engaging when I visited his gallery in Positano. His art was beautiful, unique, and the best of all the offerings I saw as we wandered the town. I’m so happy with my piece, and had a hard time choosing he had so many beautiful options! Coming home with a piece of art was a wonderful souvenir, and made even more special because I got to spend time speaking with the talented artist himself. Thank you Giancarlo!

Amazing art piece that keeps memories of Positano
A very belated review (we visited in Oct 2022!), we stumbled across the shop and met Giancarlo. Lovely knowledgeable artist. Came away with a lovely piece that we have recently gotten around to framing and putting the piece up - which we love. Promised Giancarlo we would review, and although it’s late, here we are. We hope to visit again in future!

Great gallary and great service. We purchased a couple pieces that we were very happy with. We got to work with the owner who took very good care of us and also provided us excellent dinner recommendations. Very enjoyable experience and love the art we got!

Bought our painting of the Positano coast line from Giancarlo. He was so fun to work with and he recommended an amazing dinner location- was our favorite spot in Positano.

Giancarlo was so friendly and helpful from the moment we entered this wonderful gallery. He graciously signed my piece and took care in packaging it for my travels. Lovely art and a memorable way to end our adventures in Positano. TY Giancarlo!

I was in the region for a wedding, but chose Positano for a day trip because my mother loved it so much in the 1950s. She remembers it as her favorite place, and she was never able to return. She's 91 now, so I wanted to bring home a keepsake. I found the perfect gift—once I saw Giancarlo's shop. Although there are many nice shops to choose from, I immediately recognized the quality available in the Art & Craft Gallery. Giancarlo is a proper artist, a talented and soulful person. I told him my story as I looked through prints, sketches, and oils. He talked with me about his process, and I chose a vibrant oil of the signature hillside and sea—one that would fit in my luggage. My painter friends back home have praised the work ("lovely use of color," "wonderful technique")—but the most important part is that my mother was very moved when I gave it to her. With tears in her eyes, she said, "That's IT. That's my favorite place." Thank you, Giancarlo!
