Abbiamo trascorso qualche giorno in costiera per visitare i luoghi più caratteristici in un periodo dell'anno che pensavamo più vivibile. Luoghi incantevoli ma denaturati dal turismo di massa che sbarca dai traghetti per scartare qualche foto. Positano ,una delle 0etle, sembra un suk a cielo aperto: botteghe ovunque la maggior parte delle quali con 0rodotti di dubbia qualità. Noi viaggiavamo con l'auto e ovviamente parcheggiare è un incubo: a 500mt dal centro 10 euro l'ora.ingiustificabile!!!!i da italiana innamorate delle nostre bellezze mi spiace dover lasciare questo commento ma tutti questi incantevoli luoghi sono diventati una giostra per i turisti stranieri.a non rivederci

in questo periodo assolutamente da evitare.... totale disorganizzazione, lavori in corso al porto riducono a un traghetto lo spazio per sbarco e imbarco.... incommentabile... nessuna informazione alle biglietterie... attesa di quasi un'ora per sbarcare.... attesa analoga per imbarcarsi.... davvero imbarazzante centinaia di persone in attesa del proprio traghetto senza alcuna informazione....

Scandaloso ho pagato un biglietto con traghetto a/r ma a causa di lavorino corso al molo è possibile un attracco per volta quindi abbiamo aspettato un ora per scendere ed un ora per risalire visto che la visita prevista a Positano la visita guidata era di 2 ore noi non abbiamo visto niente di Positano per di più le persone erano tutte accalcate per salire senza avere notizie e senza forza pubblica ad organizzare l'emergenza in corso mi vergogno di essere Italiano.

Il posto è molto bello peccato che non l'abbia potuto visitare a causa del rifacimento del molo che consente riattaccare solo ad un traghetto alla volta: un ora di cosa in mare, un'ora di coda sul molo in mezzo ad una folla urlante con la netta sensazione di non avere scampo.
È una vergogna che la compagnia dei traghetti non avvisi l'utenza del disservizio. Di sicuro non consiglio a nessuno di imbarcarsi in un'avventura simile.

Positano is one of those places which you wished you had been able to experience 50 years ago before the advent of mass tourism.
Whilst in the past it may have been a picturesque backwater frequented by the wealthy and cultured traveller today it is seething with day trippers and Airbnb stopovers.Crowded ferries arrive from the early morning onwards releasing their toxic cargoes into the narrow roads around the small harbour.During the day the build up of human flotsam creates enormous pressures on the tiny streets and infrastructure.
In addition to the chaos caused by the sea born invasion the one way system of getting in and out of the town by road adds to the nightmare of getting up and down to the sea and port.The roads clog up and a 15 minute walk can easily take 30minutes by taxi costing 35-40€ a time.Locals tell of regular delays on trips to Amalfi or Sorrento of 2hrs caused by large coaches log jammed on the narrow cliff roads.
Despite enjoying our stay at a luxury small boutique guest house and having some great meals I am afraid this will be the first and last time I stay in Positano.Sorry but the town’s principals need to limit the tourists before they throttle it to death.

Nous y sommes aller en revenant du sentier des dieux.Je n'avais pas l'intention d'y passer du temps mais j'ai bien été obligée car pas de bus! Enfin si mais seule deux personnes ont pû monter !! Et en plus il fallait faire la queue pour entrer (selon une dame,j e ne sais pas si c'est vrai ) nous avons donc pris le ferry(qui d'ailleurs est parti à 15h15 au lieu de 15h30....) .Les ruelles sont plus que bondées,un flot CONTINU. Tout ce que ce village contient ce sont des boutiques de souvenirs et des hotels de luxe /restaurants le tout dans une ambiance hystérique qui ne donne qu'une envie : fuire le plus vite possible . Dommage car c'est effectivement un beau village...mais de loin, très loin.

Returning to Positano after many years of absence left me with a bad taste. It has become a tourist trap from the beginning till the end starting with garage parking fees of 30 Euro (with receipt) for a 3 hours parking. Traffic along the Amalfi Coast does the rest, no wonder the municipal police have stopped locals and not resident tourists to come on weekends during summer. Unfortunately for the Amalfi Coast and Positano, there will be no arrivederci. Italy has so much more and better to show.

Positano e magia....almeno una volta nella vita tutti ci devono andare.... soprattutto al tramonto, quando i turisti mordi e fuggi se ne vanno e il presepe a gradoni si accende ed è allora che, dalla spiaggia ,vedo i colori delle bouganville e le luci accendersi e le scale si svuotano dal vociare frenetico e ,sui candidi muretti bianchi e piastrellati di splendide maioliche ti puoi sedere e scrutare il mare che,piano piano si allontana e le vetrine dei negozi con colori avvolgenti ti invitano ad entrare....pero' peccato.. gia' peccato....io ho 61 anni e 40 anni or sono ho potuto soggiornare per una settimana ,in pieno agosto, a hotel Savoia...eravamo 2 studenti ma potevamo permettercelo....allora la mia Positano non era meta esclusiva di turisti americani e indiani danarosi che hanno stravolto tutto....oggi quanti italiani possono fare una vacanza a Positano ,in pieno agosto ,di 7 giorni??...e comunque andateci a Positano...anche per un caffe o una grattachecca al limone e parcheggiate auto in ultimo parcheggio ,prima della scalinata...in fronte a tabaccheria...chiedete di Bartolo...e preparatevi a euro 10 ora....ma per una volta fatelo perché Positano e magia!!!!

14 km between 2 cities 150€ taxi, if not the bus, 2 some hours plus you pay for each luggage as if it was a person.
24/7 diesel smell
Noise above a human being tolerance
Owners that don't give a dm about your existence.
+ beautiful views but
don't go because your friends told you it's beautiful, they probably want you to suffer like they did.
If you're a type of person that doesn't give a dm about anything else but him , go, but if you have some common sense and education, don't go. Just stay and take a tour via YouTube.
Leave this coast to italians and their traditions.
There's no Uber, same price all.over, can't negotiate anything, plus you dollar is considered as granted to be spent.
If you still are stubborn and go, just remember I told you so.
it's a commercial! North America , Canada better in Cuba or Mexico and South America wich we all should appreciate it more than we do.
I speak italian BTW.
Don't come with kids!!!!
if you're lucky to stay At Royal Positano, not Royal Prisco, at least you'll have some pace. Good food , nice staff. nobody looks for a tip, that's the bummer between North America and South America and Europe.

tenemos pensado llegar a Napoles el 20 de noviembre... y queremos conocer la costa amalfitana.. me comentan que para esa fecha muchos comercios y restaurantes están cerrados.. quien me puede informar sobre esto??
