The evening visit for halloween was very interesting, fun and sometimes scary! Too bad about the parking that was really scary... if you can call it that the parking lot was located in a field used for that purpose... too bad it was all muddy and most cars had problems getting in and out without getting bogged down! Experience definitely valid but I suggest to adapt the parking space! (We were not the only ones who had problems but many complained about this mishap and some even had serious difficulties getting out!)

Visited halloween night with a guide who accompanied us through the mysteries and charm of the countless rooms; at night it really has a special charm and definitely deserves the price of the ticket

Visited on the occasion of a treasure hunt organized for children. First of all, the very good girl who was a Guide and who kept the children at bay during the visit deserves praise. The castle is really beautiful, the exterior well maintained and full of greenery and inside you can visit some rooms that tell the story of the family. Really a beautiful castle that has intrigued young and old. Well done!

We went on 10/28/23 on the occasion of the Halloween evening. Ticket price (22 euros each) too high for a tour of about 30 minutes with too large a group and an excessively hasty guide. In the smallest rooms you couldn't even manage to enter and the guide did not wait for the group to gather before starting to talk. Negative experience that I do not recommend: they were only interested in making money without taking care of the success of the event. Very beautiful castle that you should visit on normal days (cost 10 euros and certainly suitable groups).

mi fa piacere che abbia apprezzato il castello e mi dispiace molto ci sia stato nel suo caso un problema con i tempi non rispettati della visita, siamo sempre molto attenti alla qualità degli eventi. Dalla professionalità delle guide a quella dei figuranti professionisti. E’ un tour che facciamo da molti anni per questa ricorrenza di Halloween, la durata della visita è di circa 50/55 mn, ai quali si aggiunge in questa occasione anche il tempo per salire nella torre con le prigioni e per vedere il giardino con le zucche intagliate e il combattimento degli spadaccini. E’ un evento che riscuote da anni molto successo e probabilmente ci deve essere stato un problema nella suddivisione dei vari gruppi che ha portato una delle guide a dovere accelerare la visita. Una delle tante guide era anche stata sostituita all’ultimo momento. Per un tour guidato come quello che organizziamo per le serate di Halloween, con il Castello interamente illuminato con le candele, illuminazioni sugli affreschi e soffitti, numerosi figuranti professionisti e attori, tra cui anche gli spadaccini, con costumi teatrali di grande qualità, zucche intagliate e numerose guide, la tariffa del biglietto non può essere la stessa di una visita normale. Mi rammarica che nonostante un imprevisto che ci deve essere stato non abbia percepito la passione e l’impegno che tutti noi vi mettiamo.

The castle is beautiful, very well maintained, both in the external and internal spaces. I was there for Halloween with the children and unfortunately we were not satisfied, they assigned us a guide who exposed a machine, so fast that sometimes it jammed. And it's a real shame because the place was beautiful, and deserved it. A reflection on the staff is needed.

We took part in an evening guided tour with an extraordinary opening of the Castle park to admire the shooting stars of S. Lorenzo.
The structure and location are enviable, the view of the surrounding hills is beautiful. The guided tour was very interesting and we were provided with a very precise historical perspective on this Castle and on the Pallavicino family who historically allowed its preservation and who still stay here today.
The interior spaces are not sumptuous, but they tell a story of family life. It is worth stopping and savoring the Castle and its historic village.

Ottima gita fuori porta vicino a Salsomaggiore Terme. Il castello è molto bello in ottima posizione: la vista dal parcheggio sul retro è veramente bella. Il castello è privato e va apprezzato l'impegno che ci mettono i proprietari per organizzare sempre nuove iniziative per bambini e adulti.

Il castello, privato e tuttora abitato dai proprietari, costituisce la principale attrattiva di un minuscolo ed affascinante paese, è visitabile solo nei fine settimana ed è bene informarsi sugli orari di apertura. Pur essendo il più antico per fondazione tra i numerosi castelli della zona, all'interno ha ambienti ed arredi riconducibili ad una storia più recente ma non per questo meno affascinante. Ultimamente per una mostra è stato arricchito con oggetti di arredo e suppellettili della famiglia che ne aumentano notevolmente il fascino e l'interesse. Molto bella la sala del tè e quella con la tavola apparecchiata secondo l'usanza russa; peccato non aver potuto fare foto, come succede spesso nelle dimore private. Preparato e gentile il giovane Alessandro che ci ha accompagnato in una visita di un'ora circa. Anche qui organizzano tante cose ma io credo che sia preferibile vedere il castello senza sovrastrutture o finzioni.

Tante aspettative, molte deluse. Visita guidata al costo di € 10.00, la gentile guida preparata a descrivere e raccontare molti dettagli della vita dei proprietari e ascendenti, ma la velocita non permette di apprezzare i dettagli degli oggetti, mobili ed altro tra originali e non. Ambienti non fotografabili per privatezza ed anche se pochi d'epoca.

Ci siamo fermati a Castel Scipione prima di andare a Salsomaggiore.
Il paese è molto suggestivo, piccolo e veloce da visitare.

Il Castello, come segnalato sul sito del Castello di Scipione sotto Visite Guidate è aperto in ottobre tutti i giovedì con visite guidate alle 15.00 e 17.00, il sabato alle 15.00, 16.00 e 17.00, la domenica alle 10h30 e 11h30 e 15.00, 16.00 e 17.00.
