It is not easy to reach the top with the path. It is better to walk up to 2,000 meters of col verde and then take the cable car to reach the top of Rosetta. An alien but fantastic scenario opens up, in what was once a glacier thirty years ago. Beautiful place and with many routes to do. It is easy for clouds and fog to appear from the clear sky. See the weather well before venturing out

It was a bit 'tiring to reach the summit and the cross but from up there you could admire a wonderful sight between mountains, country (the beautiful San Martino di Castrozza) and various lakes. All beautiful.

Done after waking up in the Rifugio Rosetta. With some snow on the flanks the climb started with good spirits. No regrets about the styles climb!

The summit, thanks to its 2743 meters of height and the absence of obstacles, is very panoramic and the ramp is easy to climb up, furthermore at the cost of little effort (fairly short route and limited height difference). All this - even if you use the cable car - absolutely does not authorize you to complete the journey with city shoes, or even with flip-flops, as unfortunately I have often seen here, but also on Pordoi, Lagazuoi, Tofane and even under the Gran Sasso in Campo Imperatore. The same goes for clothing, which must be appropriate for the altitude and sudden weather changes.
Having said this, we can lightly recommend this destination which will amply repay you for climbing up here. The climb on foot directly from San Martino di Castrozza is steep and very tiring, therefore only suitable for the most experienced and resistant walkers.

Climbing up here is an experience that you will never forget, both for the hiking satisfaction that these mountains offer and for the extraordinary beauty and vastness of the panorama that can be enjoyed from this peak. Furthermore, the effort isn't really that great if, as usually happens, you use the cable car that goes up from San Martino di Castrozza. In addition to the major Dolomite groups, you have a priceless and evocative view of the Pale di San Martino plateau.
Naturally (I will never tire of repeating it) suitable clothing and mountain shoes are necessary, even if the climb is shortened by using the cable car.

Si ci sono stato ieri con un cucciolo taglia piccola e ho pagato la funivia 3 euro per il cane ma su ho visto diversi cani anche taglia grande
