Abbiamo acquistato dei prodotti da questo frantoio, sono eccezionali. Buonissimi e velocissimi con la consegna, 2 giorni arrivato tutto. Sicuramente acquisteremo ancora altre specialità.

My husband and I had such a fun day here on our honey moon in Sant’Agnello, at Gargiulo’s olive oil farm!
Our honeymoon was off season for the time we were in Italy (which in our opinion was the best choice we made!) so we had an awesome one on one group experience here tasting ALL the olive oils and vinegars!
They offered to pick us up (price included in ticket!) at our hotel, the Hilton in Sorrento, and it was a beautiful 10 minute drive … and they brought us back to our hotel after! Everything was made so conveniently for us!
We had such a great tour and (now) understanding how much work goes into producing this delicious and super fresh ingredient! After taste tasting literally everything we browsed around the beautiful store and were able to easily ship products home!! Our products arrived home here in NY THREE days after purchasing it there at the farm! We will truly (as long as we can help it!) never purchase olive oil here in the states again … there oil is so light and fresh it truly is that amazing and has made such a difference in my cooking!
Its a beautiful generational owned business, sitting on top of a beautiful mountain … and they have customers for life in us! <3

A nice little experience that should just cost 20€ per person.
The tour it’s a 10 minute walk looking at some trees and two old machines and then looking at the new machinery all piled up in a shed. And then the tasting which was nice.
Our guide was very friendly and welcoming and she let taste all the olive oils and balsamic but it was just overpriced for what the tour actually is and offers.
Also we found the same olive oils at the supermarket at a cheaper price. So they were selling their own products at a higher price on the factory.

dear customer,
we are very sorry that you didn't fully enjoy our tour. however we would like to underline that the experience only costs eur 10 per person and includes a short tour in the garden among olive and lemon trees, the visit to the old oil mill and the visit to the new factory (certainly less romantic than the working methods used by our grandfather 80 years ago). After the visits we move to the showroom for the tastings of over 20 different extra virgin oils, the glazes, the jams and the liqueurs, for a total of over 30 tastings.
the cost you refer to is certainly inclusive of the transfer by taxi from Sorrento, but that cost doesn't apply if you get to our mill by your car or by bus.
Regarding the prices of the oil we think it's unlikey that you can find our products at a lower price somewhere else, but we will investigate to verify if any of our retailers is not applying the suggested price.
we apologize in case we didn't meet your expectations but at the same time we thank you for your feedback; this allows us to grow up and to compliment with our staff, which performs always in an excellent way.

I first experienced Frantoio Gargiulo olive oil from a little gift shop while visiting the Isle of Capri. I loved it so much, I decided to visit the location in Sorrento. I was given a tour and had the opportunity to taste all the different flavors. I placed an order and had it shipped back to the US. Since that time, I have visited them once again. But, I have placed orders via their website for the past 3 years. Their products are incredible. Their professional employees are a pleasure with whom to work. Most impressive, however, is their packing. Upon receiving my packages at home, the boxes can sometimes look as though they’ve been run over by a truck, but not one item has been broken or damaged. It’s amazing the care they put into packaging their products. I would highly recommend not only their products, but, if you have the opportunity, visit them in person. You won’t regret the experience. 🤌 🤌🤌🤌

Our driver, Serafino, took us here on our way back from Positano, for a tasting. I don't even know where to start. We loved everything we tasted which made it hard to decide what to buy and have shipped back to the states. It was amazing the taste difference of their products to what we are used to. We purchased a variety of oil olives, fig glaze, creme liquors and pasta. Our order arrived so well packed and in a short amount of time. We've only been home for a few months and have already placed another order. I don't think we will use any other olive oil but theirs. We are planning a trip back to Sorrento and Gargiulo is on our list to visit again. We have even gotten our friends and family loving their products and placing orders. It's a must to visit if you have the time.

When visiting Gargiulo olive farm, you are greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. Make sure to take a tour of the olive groves and learn how the olive oil is made and bottled. There is a beautiful shop where there are many oils and vinegars to taste.
The shipping aspect of the business is fabulous!! All the items that I purchased were well wrapped and arrived in perfect condition. I bought a case of olive oil, a case of dried pasta and one box filled with lemon infused honey, lemon candies and various other gift items. The lemon honey is quite tasty and of course the olive oil is the best!!!
I hope to visit again next year and have lunch on the rooftop. The view is exceptional!!

This stop was another highlight from our trip to this beautiful region. The olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting was incredible. I think we made a meal out of tasting this most delicious liquid gold. We wanted to buy it all - and we came pretty close to it. We had it shipped to our home - received it this week - everything was intact and the packaging was perfect. Will definitely be ordering my olive oil from here - and hope to visit again someday. Our family of four took a tour and olive oil tasting here. It was terrific. They arranged for transportation to and from where we stayed in Sorrento so it was easy. When we got there we ended up with a private tour for a very reasonable cost. We learned a lot about olive oil making and took a short walk through the grounds. The 2nd half of the tour was the tasting. We tasted at least 20 different oils and balsamic vinegars - each one was different - and all so tasty. They had an excellent selection of items to purchase in their gift shop/showroom - from small (lotions and bottles of different olive oils) to large liter size containers to ship home. They ship all over the world too. They make EXCELLENT olive oil and I’m so glad we went!

Greatly enjoyed our tour, we got to see the entire process, from how the olive trees grow in terraces on the hillside, to hand harvest, and the entire production process once the olives make it to the factory. Being engineers we liked getting to see the machinery, both modern and old. The tasting was thorough to say the least, we tried their 4 main oils, and could choose as many samples as we wanted from the 20+ other flavored oils they had available. Then there was the vinegar to go along with it, honeys and jams also from their grove, and last but not least the liquors…limoncello! They even picked us up at the train station and brought us back when we were done, oh and they conveniently ship your purchases home for you so you don’t need to worry about carrying them around with you.

We are staying near to the the train station in S. Agnello - can we walk to you? If not is it likely to be an expensive taxi ride?
Are you open on Saturday and Sunday and if so what times can we come?

If you call them for a tour they will send a taxi. We stayed the next town over and it was only 30€. The driver even waited for us while we toured and tasted (at least an hour).
We actually had our hotel call for us so nothing was lost in translation.
I don't think it would be walkable to get there from anywhere in town.

What is the best/easiest way to get to you from Hotel Del Mare in Sorrento? Is there a bus that goes to your place? Approximately how much would a taxi cost? And would we be able to get a taxi back to Sorrento afterwards?

To come here with a Bus, take in Sant'Agnello however, but I don't know the time. If you want we have a trasfert and coast 30 Euro. (going and return). Do you want to book? The tour is free and long around 1 hour
From Sorrento/Us take 15 minutes around of car.

Our mill is far about 2 km from Hotel Caravel, but it's up on hill, and weather is very hot this part of year. It could be easier come by taxi.
