Used this service for transit to and from Naples- Sorrento.
Gennaro picked us up from Naples central station. He had name written up on a board so it was easy to identify. He was very personable. He gave advices on the local places to eat and visit and how to use out time effectively.He offered us to visit Pompeii on the way but we had tour booked for the next day and we ended up going straight to Sorrento.
Coming back to Naples from Sorrento, Gennaro gave us a driver named Joseph who was also amazing. He got us bottles of cold water up on board. He was very kind. he also told us all about the history and living situations which you wouldn't usually get from the tours. Joseph, once he dropped us, came back to give us additional information on a piece of paper which I thought is kind of him.

Pietro picked us up at the Hotel Ambascadori in Sorrento and drove us to Ravello in July 2017. Pietro speaks many languages and he is charming and a delight to spend the day with! We are interested in Art and Italian ceramics. Pietro was helpful and kind. We had a wonderful tour! We would not hesitate to recommend Genny's Car Service! The car was a mini van, it was clean and spacious for the (3) of us. We were comfortable and well cared for. BRAVO Pietro!

Gennaro picked us up at Naples airport and took us to our villa. During our stay he drove us to Ravello and Amalfi and points in between. At the end of our stay he took us back to the airport to get boarding passes and then to our hotel. Throughout our stay he was a gem and we felt very comfortable with him. He speaks good English and is an excellent and courteous driver, managing the tight roads and heavy traffic along the coast. He was very knowledgeable about the attractions on the Amalfi coast and we were glad we had his advice. I recommend this car service without reservation.

We have recently returned from Sorrento in Italy and used Genny's car service for the transportation to and from Naples airport and a full day tour of Pompeii, Vesuvius and Herculaneum. Despite being delayed 14 hours flying to Naples, Gennaro re-arranged our pick-up for the new arrival time which was much appreciated after a frustrating start to our holiday, no thanks to Easyjet....
The information provided in advance was clear and provided the cost of each trip and Gennaro advised that certain attractions were free on Sundays so we could plan our trips in advance. Gennaro and his drivers were very friendly, polite, always on time and gave a lot of information on the attractions of this part of Italy. We can't thank Gennaro enough for his assistance and thoroughly recommend Genny's car service to anyone visiting this area.

We just returned from a fabulous trip to the Amalfi coast and Rome, made all the more memorable by the service we received from our drivers from Genny's Car Service. Gennaro was our main man; he organized our trips and was always there with a ready smile and lots of stimulating conversation. We also used his father Pietro, and another driver, Nunzio, who drove us to Rome on our final leg home. Can't recommend these guys enough. Oh, and Gennaro hooked us up with a private boat for a day trip to Capri. Our "captain" for the day was Luigi from Mamma Mia Boat Excursions out of Sorrento-- great guy to spend the day with.

I can not say enough nice things about both the quality of the transport service as well as Gennaro's kindness!
My husband and I were traveling with our young son, and my parents - so we had several different age groups to accommodate. Of course I waited until last minute to book a car service, and sent out several emails in a panic the night before our flight to Naples. Gennaro responded promptly in the morning via text that he was available. Gennaro was waiting for us at the airport, nice & clean mercedes van, and pleasant conversation during the ride to our hotel. Everything was smooth, flawless, easy - which after traveling for nearly three weeks at this point was such a beautiful luxury! :-)
We hired Gennaro's company during the rest of our stay on the Amalfi - for our transfer from Sant Agnello to Positano, and our return from Positano to Naples. Gennero even suggested doing a quick (2 hour) tour of Pompeii on our way back to Naples. This was fantastic, as we were able to multitask on the transport and going first thing in the morning we were able to avoid the crowds. Genera also suggested a private tourguide who was FANTASTIC. She packed in so much information into our quick visit - I would highly recommend her (unfortunately I forgot her name! -it was a long vacation).
Couple things I have to highlight about Gennaro:
-his rates were typically 10-20 euro less than the other companies
-he is EXTREMELY responsive - i would text him with my requests/questions, and he would respond right away.
-he is super nice, as was his colleague Giovanni that drove us on one of the transfers.
-I felt like I had a friend/resource in Italy
I would use Gennaro's transport service again in a heartbeat! The entire family was thrilled with the service. He's honest, responsive and general seems to care about his customers having a good stay. Honestly one of the top three highlights of awesome customer service during a month long vacation.

Genny's was always on time, even when we had a very early morning flight they were at our hotel to pick us up. we went on some personal day trips and airport shuttle trips and they were great.

We flew into Naples in August and used Genny's car service to get to our villa and for the return trip. Baggage claim was very slow - it was so nice to come out and have Gennaro waiting for us, help with the bags and give us a pleasant ride in a roomy, clean vehicle. Same for the return ride. I would highly recommend the service and would also use it for additional day trips when we go back.

We chose this company having searched the web for transfer options and after reading some positive reviews on trip. The driver was friendly considering we were two and a half hours late, one of which involved waiting for the luggage carousel to work, which seemed a standard event in his view.
I would suggest you book and pay by using the online option. Confirm flight details by email and agree the pick up time if you book a return.
The drive was smooth, you get a people carrier, with an informative driver, who makes the journey fly by.
I would recommend the company as a great choice if you organise your own transfer.
It's better than the other options- train, boat or other transfer companies like Expedia and last minute where the advertised price wasn't the check-out price for the former and in the case of LM and others, they didn't allow us to select our hotel as a transfer option as it's on the border between Sorrento and Sant'Agnello.

We were in the Sant'Agnello area in April 2014 and used Genny's car service both for transportation from/to the Naples Airport, a day trip along the Amalfi Coast and half day trip to Pompeii. We so much enjoyed being taken care of. Genny's did everything right--always on time, prompt responses to emails setting up trips, you name it. Gennaro (the son in this family business) was great...he provided a running commentary throughout without being overbearing (excellent English to boot).
Frankly, I felt sorry for Gennaro driving in the area's traffic. I have driven in Boston, New York, LA, San Francisco, Paris and London--I would gladly drive in any of those cities before driving along the Amalfi coast--very narrow roads, extremely heavy traffic, sheer drop-off, etc. And of course, there are also the problems of getting lost, parking, etc. I cannot imagine the toll that the anxiety would taken on me and my wife have either of us driven. Local knowledge can also be a great help--who would have known that there are 4 entrances to Pompeii (hint if you drive yourself--remember which entrance). However, Gennaro knew which entrance would be least crowded and to make sure that we knew which entrance to come out. Gennaro does not guide within Pompeii--use the audio guides and control your visit to Pompeii.

high i am looking for info and prices to travel the amalfi coast by car from grand hotel la pace with usual stop offs and then a return by boat, any help info ,would be greatly appreciated
