Afternoon trip to the trigoso shore with a stop of about an hour for swimming.

This was our second time sailing with SilentBay Charter. The first time was in 2014 when we were in Sestri Levante by chance and met Simone while admiring his magnificent VW Syncro Westfalia. He was so incredibly friendly and kind to us random and curious American strangers. When we were about to part ways he mentioned that he had a sailboat charter business and if we were interested, and we had time, he had room for 2 more guests on board the next day. At first we declined because weren't prepared or equipped to go sailing but after sleeping on it and recalling how amazing and generous "Simmo" had been, we called him to confirm our spots. It was a near perfect sailing day and Captain Simmo had snacks, beverages, sunscreen, dive masks and more on board so even though we weren't prepared, he most certainly was.
This year when we returned to beautiful Sestri Levante, there was no doubt we were going to book another cruise with SilentBay Charters and Captain Simmo! Once again, Simmo and his beloved “Muffolo” were fully equipped and prepared to take us and 4 other passengers out for a 3 plus hr cruise with a stop at a nearly private, sheltered beach to swim and relax. Once securely anchored, he deployed boarding ladders on both sides of the boat, offered to photograph our experience and shared his vast knowledge of the surrounding lands and sea. Simmo very clearly and proudly loves sharing his boat, his home and his waters with his guests. His genuine and sincere concern for everyone’s comfort, pleasure and safety was very reassuring as well. Simmo’s English is excellent, considerably better than my Italian plus he has a superb sense of humor too.
If possible, I would give 10 stars to SilentBay Charter and we plan to return next year to sail with Captain Simmo again.

My first time on the carther at sunset in Sestri Levante.
A beautiful and unforgettable experience, almost difficult to explain in words.
Sun, sea, wind, silence, aperitif, landscape, colours: the fundamental words to summarize a magnificent excursion.
It was a simple Wednesday in August that I will always remember with a heart full of joy.
Simone, a very kind guy, sociable, nice and very helpful with every question/request.
I highly recommend this experience for all those who live in Sestri Levante...having such an opportunity around the corner should be taken advantage of immediately!

Definitely an experience worth trying because it is difficult to describe in words how you feel when you are lying on the water surrounded only by the sound of the sea and the wind blowing on the sails.
I've been seeing Siletbay Charter posters for years and I've always said to myself once you have to go and finally this year the wish came true. Right from the start, in the splendid location of the Bay of Silence of Sestri Levante, there is the risk of being left speechless by the beauty of the village. Then when you arrive at the cove where the sea is turquoise, you feel the desire to never go home again.
Super credit must be given to Simone the skipper, who, with his professionalism and knowledge of the area, gives added value to this beautiful excursion.
There is only one contraindication... the well-being you feel "on board" can be addictive!

La gita effettuata è stata l'escursione diurna con un gruppo di amiche e l'esperienza è stata molto positiva. Il mare, un pochino mosso, ha fatto apprezzare ancora di piu' la professionalità e la competenza dello skipper Simone, sempre attento a cercare la soluzione migliore per la navigazione le nella scelta delle zone di sosta, e sempre pronto a cogliere le nostre esigenze in modo oltremodo discreto e professionale.
Putroppo il mare mosso ha fatto una "vittima" fra di noi, ma un plauso ancora a Simone che si è attivato per far venire a prendere e sbarcare a terra la nostra amica.
Veramente una bella esperienza ed un'ottima organizzazione generale.

Die Küste einmal anders. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten, per Boot die Küste zu erleben. Aber mit Simone und seinem Katamaran wird es zu einem persönlichen Erlebnis. Vielen Dank. Würden wir jederzeit wieder buchen.

… Una sorpresa per festeggiare un compleanno un po’ speciale con un aperitivo al tramonto che si è trasformato in una bellissima esperienza ! l’incantevole rumore del mare e il fantastico tramonto, accompagnati dalla gentilezza e professionalità oltre che simpatia di Simone rendono il tutto semplicemente perfetto !! Assolutamente consigliato !

Unforgettable experience...yesterday was my second time sailing at sunset with Silentbay Charter and if it's possible this was even better,,,,
Tasteful drinks and appetizers, Very cool athmosphere surrounded by a peaceful and breathless landscape. The sea breeze on our faces in these warm days was a plus.A sense of freedom!
Simone is very professional and kind.

Hi, if you don't mind having other people on board with you, the cost for the sunset cruise is 50 euro per person all included, 40 euros per person for the half day tour with drinks and skipper included and 100 euros per person for the full day tour all included.
You can get a quote for the private tour (with no other people on board) of each option sending us an email at info @ silentbay . it
