A lovely bay, during the day full of umbrellas but not even a stuffy thing. Bathing in the bay is wonderful. Very pleasant to swim and stop on the rocks, the view. Lovely both towards the sea and in looking at the houses around the bay. I would love to go back in the spring.

Beautiful bay close to the historic center path to reach it. In summer, in order to preserve the eco-system, the municipality has set up access with a limited number. It is therefore advisable to go early in the morning or around 1230 1300 when some family with young children leaves the space for the hottest hours. Fine sand, there are no public showers, only in the last alley (leaving the center behind ) a fountain where you can quickly rinse at least face and feet. Immediately after the boats, towards the rocks the water is crystal clear, full of fish, ideal for snorkeling (reachable by swimming, for small children better with mattress and armrests or walking along the beach to the rocks-in this case you dive into the water between the rocks and it is better to have shoes). There are bars and restaurants and still very close to the center where there are other bars, restaurants and bakeries. There is only one umbrella and deckchair supplier, but they are few and almost always busy. Better go equipped. Recommendation to go in May, June and September...with fewer people is wonderful.

Go there early in the morning and enjoy the peace and contemplate the sea in solitude, along with the reverberation of the waves. When it gets crowded you go away, it loses its charm.

You can't tell where the silence is. Crowded beach, murky water, a little further on a myriad of boats and boats. The bay is very characteristic if seen early in the morning when, acnge if for a while, you can savor the silence and perceive the slight breeze.

The place would also be nice, even the old town really very cute .. but cleanliness here does not exist. Dirty beach, crowded, murky sea water .. held very badly .. those who criticize the beaches of the Adriatic coast, gentlemen , there is only to learn... ( Even used condoms on shore )

Beautiful bay if you get there at 8/9 the next morning becomes unlivable. Pretty clear water but I've seen much better.
The lifeguard we found in August was rude and bossy with everyone. At least with tourists on the first day of vacation it would take a little more courtesy and kindness otherwise you will pass the desire to visit Sestri Levante.... Looks like he got out of a maximum security prison! Change it!

We came to the bay in June 2020, August 2021, July 2022 plus other weekends. The beach with transparent and fragrant water has turned into a green and yellow lagoon, also due to the oil of numerous speedboats (in the past there were a maximum of ten, now there are minimum three times).
In some places, the sand inside the water is slimy and the smell of the water a bit heavy.
The small characteristic bay to which we were fond with clear water and characteristic views, which had all the credentials to be among the most beautiful beaches in Italy, transformed into a green pond.
If like us you are fond of this bay and have a good memory, keep the good memory.

Maybe I had been there in winter .. but the sea I remembered it much cleaner.

The reality is that the sea of the Bay of Silence is beautiful yes but in winter

Ciao ti confermo che non è possibile portare i cani durante l'alta stagione (praticamente da Maggio in poi).
però sull'altra spiaggia (baia delle Favole) è possibile nell'area cani predisposta: ovvero un tratto di spiaggia più o meno recintata in cui potete piantare il vostro ombrellone e passare la giornata con il cane che corre avanti e indietro per il mare. Si trova nelle vicinanze del lido Luna Blu (giusto per avere un'idea di posizione). buona vacanza

Prendendo un treno regionale dalla stazione di Genova Brignole il viaggio dura mediamente 1h 07': vi sono tre differenti opzioni di durata (0h 49', 1h 08', 1h 23'). Il costo del biglietto è di 4,90 € a persona, solo andata. In caso facessi andata e ritorno il prezzo rimarrebbe invariato e, perciò, il costo totale del viaggio sarà di 9,80 € a testa.
