Kertha Gosa means the place where the king meets with his ministries to discuss questions of justice.it was once a court of law.The ceiling of Kertha Gosa is painted in a traditional Balinese style that resembles wayang. These paintings used a technique described as Kamasan style. besides bale kertha gosa, there is a Bale Kambang ‘floating' hall that's surrounded by a moat.these two bale forms part of the Puri Semarapura royal palace complex .i visited this place twice,the first time was many years ago.last month when i revisited Bali,i came here again.i took many photos here and admired its painting and building structure.may come again if have chance.

Un lieu remplit d'histoires bien sur mais différent des autres temples ici vous trouverez un palais de justice et des fresques très bien conservées la statue de dame justice est imposante et très bien conservée ; le musée qui y est attaché n'offre pas un grand intérêt autour de ce palais et du temple vous avez de grands et beaux jardins ainsi que des bassins tout autour ; ce lieu est plus un site culturel ou vous apprendrez l'histoire de BALI. Des policiers se chargent de vous y faire entrer et de vous faire traverser la rue cela nous bien étonner.

Prachtige schilderingen in beide gebouwtjes. Je hebt niet lang nodig, maar zeker een aanvulling op je tour. Hierheen is aanrader

Kertah gosa ini recommended untuk wisatawan yang ingin mengenal sejarah yang berada di klungkung. Kertha gosa juga bisa dipakai untuk spot photo dengan pemandangan taman dan bale kambang yang berisi lukisan wayang.

Historical Museum which is right in the heart of Klungkung City, a beautiful museum with its Bale Kambang. Beautiful atmosphere, neat garden, good as a photo spot. Location is also commonly used for prawedding.

This "Hall of Justice" as it was know was great. The architecture and surrounding gardens are beautiful. This was a nice stop on our tour. The thrones are on display in one of the small pagodas off to the side. The inside of the pagoda roof has outstanding murals covering the entire structure.

Spændende sted med historie om de 8 konger der var klungkung,
Vi var så heldige at vores chauffør som vi havde brugt i alle 3 uger boede i byen, så der var privat guide i byen og fortællinger om retslokalet med de 6 stole.

Taman Wisata Kertha Gosa-paviljoen is een voorbeeld van Balinese architectuur uit de 18e eeuw. De eerste functie van het paviljoen was voor de rechtbank in 1945. Het paviljoen heeft erg mooie afbeeldingen rond het plafond geschilderd in een traditionele Balinese stijl die lijkt op de traditionele Wayang poppen. Verder in de lotusvijver een mooi paviljoen.

Interesting place to learn more about the history of the ancient bali. Would like to stay longer, but have to visit other places.

We thoroughly enjoyed visiting this site, tickets are obtained from a kiosk on the other side of the road and allow entry to a couple of sites in the area, cost 60,000 each.
Thankfully it is not subject to instagrammers wanting to pose, so it a pleasant place to visit, to admire the architecture, internal ceiling paintings and the attractive grounds. You do not need a guide.
The small museum has some interesting exhibits of tools and implements, and copies of documents and papers dating from the reinvasion by the Dutch in 1947.
Highly recommended, then head across the road to the market and food stalls (not for tourists, where you’ll find some good fresh cooked food. The market sells produce - best go in the morning for this
