I went there in the evening, at dinner time, but I could not help but appreciate the main square, dominated by the church and the many balconies unexpectedly full of flowering plants... in November! It's worth even that.

Beautiful medieval village, surrounded by vineyards.
A real pleasure to walk there, visit the shops, taste wines from the many local winemakers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Old city center. It is a beautiful place which gets even better during Christmas holidays. Absolutely recommend for a short visit while travelling in the Alsace region.

Lovely Alsatian village that has kept its medieval character. His visit is very well organized, just follow the tourist path very well arrowed. This village must be visited and for 4 € parking is not so expensive. So enjoy these alleys, its castle, chapel, shops and restaurants.

Very nice little flowered village like many in Alsace, the fountain in the center of the village is beautiful. In September, we had the chance to see some more storks in their nests. Nice walk in the flowery alleys, good restaurants. Not to be missed.

Eguisheim has been named among “Le Plus Beaux Villages de France” (the most beautiful villages in France). It is the typical fairytale village, with its pastel half-timbered houses, the shops of ancient crafts with wrought iron hanging signs, lots of flowers, cellars where you can taste the fine Alsatian wines and the nests of white storks perched on the roofs. It has a circular shape, a double fortification was built according to an ellipse model.

Congratulations to the town hall for putting a paid parking that does not take cbs in contactless we are in 2024 it would be nice to get up to date at 4€ the parking would be the minimum to good hearing
