I have been traveling to Cap `d Agde since 2001. This naturist "city" I am sure is the best, biggest, and most fun place for adult free-spirited people.
This community has hotels, apartments, bungalows, camping, restaurants, saunas, swimming pools, hair stylers, bars, karaoke, shoo shops, accessory shops, jewelry shops, piercers, nightclubs, pool parties and much more.
Everybody behaves and most people are friendly - even the Franch :-) - and if you go naked to the bakery or grocery shop everybody think this is normal.
For some this lifestyle take some time to get used to, but for very openminded people this is the only way to have holidays.
You look people in other places than their eyes when you meet them, and nobody is shy about this.
Daily life at the resort is very normal with the only difference that everybody is naked.
There are some nightclubs and a little part of the long beach where people are very openminded and without the "normal" boundaries so this part may shock some naturist people.
However, the most places in the Naturist village is very relaxed. Here are all shapes and forms of bodies and nobody points their fingers at you for any reason.
We have rented apartments and hotel rooms for most of the years we have been here, but in 2024 we bought a big caravan with all facilities that stay in the camp for the time we are there in the spring, summer, and autumn.
The feeling of getting up in the morning, going naked outside and preparing breakfast while my wife gets on her bike and goes to the local baker for French bread is indescribably.
Going to the beach early in the morning to take a swim before you order something to drink from the wagon right on the beach is also very relaxing.
If you get offended by looking at people openly flirting and joining others, there are many kilometers of ordinary naturist beaches to escape to.
Cap `d Agde is one of its kind and if your mind can observe this lifestyle you want to come back again and again.
There are several different restaurants in the Village that serve very good food, but also some that don’t. If you want a good pizza for a small amount, there is that option.
Also, there are excellent seafood restaurants with everything from lobster to oysters.
This aera of France is famous for farming fantastic oysters - not very far from the Village.
If you want to rent a small house in the camping aera you can order from the agency Oltra. They have several options, but you must make reservation early in the season - this is popular.
The Naturist Village is mostly for couples and gay couples, but there are also some single people among us.
I give the Village 4 of 5 points do to that it is a very nice place, but a bit expensive.
Specially apartments and hotel room can be very expensive in the high season.
You will never forget the first time you stay at the Village.

It was too cold to get out on the beach this time, but I've been here so many times and lovely people beautiful view love the cold, natural spring from the mountains and always great conversations with smart people

Cap d’Agde is a unique city, the capital of eroticism, as everyone knows. But if you are also looking for the capital of naturism, go your way.
Once off the beach, the naturist lifestyle is almost non-existent: people dressed in shorts, bikinis. Shawls and pareos are literally everywhere.
Whether you come to Cap d’Agde to live in the simplest apparatus or to show your body freely, what is the principle of wearing clothes in this “naturist” village?
If you are looking for an alternative with a respect for naturist values and a very nice quiet setting, I advise you to go to Leucate, and discover Aphrodite Village / Oasis Village 1h00 drive from Cap d'Agde.

Having visited for the day a couple of years ago, this time we stayed with playmates in their chalet.
They arranged everything and we just had to pay for a 2-day pass.
As they hadn’t brought a car, we were able to park next to their chalet, which was nice…
The village is well laid out with different areas for different types of accommodation. There’s a great coffee hut in the centre with fabulous baked goods.
In the evenings we went to various bars and Sauna Club Histoires d'Ô, but that’s another story!
Let’s just say it was very relaxing….

Like a theme park, once you’re in, you’re in and they have you - somewhat literally, by the Testiculars.
We stayed in Natureva spa. Tired and not worth the cash in my book. I stay in many hotels throughout the year with work and this was at best very average.
Food was decent. Most places we ate were nice. We tended to opt for late lunch and then some tapas for and evening top up before going out.
Clubs and bars are super expensive and seem to only play club music - LOUD! It’s not Ibiza. The demographic is so mixed they should cater a bit more for other tastes.
We were there for Bike Week which was pretty cool; can’t beat the sound of Harleys all
day.
We walked in to actual Cap for an afternoon which was nice too. Beautiful Marina. Short walk of about 30 mins.
Overall the village is cool. It is very tired though. For the money you pay everywhere - plus the visitor tax and entry, it would be nice to see some investement. Litter, weeds, bins etc all need addressed.
If you want to cater for adults willing to spend - make it a pleasant environment.
Will we return? Probably. We will do a good bit of research and searching out a good property next time.

As a property owner of a house on the village, beautiful holiday site but parasitized by noise nuisance day and night. On the beach and in the center where are our managers to enforce the rules of noise nuisance?

Alert: Nudity in the village is in danger. For both women and men it fades during the day in favor of pareo with the exception of beaches. As a reminder nudity is everywhere in the village so enjoy this unique place.

Cosy naturist camping and beach, however a lot of noise in the afternoon with “fitness” disco
You must be mega sharp when you get assigned a pitch/place, if you are not French you get assigned the worst places at playground and very far from the beach.
We had booked in February and they tried to place us very far away and next to the children's area, I did not accept this, oh vupti file we a place 30 meters from the beach 👍💕

When I took the subscription card to get to the village, I was thrown out with a kindness as warm as a freezer on the ice.
For the record, I’m 17 years old, I’ve been going since I was two months old, I was sponsored by a restaurant named Mississippi and as this restaurant has changed ownership, I’m not allowed to go back because I’m too young. But before I was old enough to go in.
In conclusion, go your way. To flee

I'm interested to visit here, just wanna know more about this place, as i know topless and naked in beach is easy and legal here. I hear that even in restaurants, supermarkets or bar topless is allowed, is it true? And is it common?

hi friend yes on the beach you should just naked man and women .but in village you see about 30 percent of people naked and 30 percent topless and other put on clothes . but on the all people are naked . have you ever go to nude beach??

Would be happy if you can tell me if the village would be usually full in those dates?
or should i change my visit dates to July...
would like to visit when there are parties and happenings ;) on the beach and all throughout the village...

I would like to know if there is any problem with me bringing my son to stay with my husband and his two adult daughters for the summer next year 2026. It’s going to be two months from my son and he will only be turning 16 next year July 16th 2026. His real dad passed away and my boyfriend said no problem with bringing him. It will be a interesting time for him because while he is a healthy kid, he is going completely and totally blind and he will be completely blind by early next year, and when he is in the resort to be there with us for 2 whole months. My boyfriend said that he will be sure that my son have a room, but he will only have a bed with chair and table to eat with no Internet TV with English or radio and of course you will not have a phone. He will also not plan on packing anything bringing anything Wearing any clothes have any clothes or have anything except a pair of sandals and a blind stick. My son is a very nice and very healthy young boy. His only problem is that he is going to be blind I just want to know if he will be OK if he plan to just have a quiet place to relax get plenty of rest and just be nude with nothing to do for two months and is there anything wrong with it and Is this acceptable and will anyone care and if so what are anyone’s thoughts? He has no plans and he has had no job with no money saved up so he will just take time out to relax for the summer with just being nude but without having anything and being blind and not know French, he maybe a little bored.
