A very good breath of air... this Saturday, September 28, 2024, wind and humidity along the beach, but well covered, it's fine. In the streets of the city, we are sheltered... At the end of the Marcel Proust promenade, towards Dives sur Mer, a sandy path to enjoy some solitude (depending on the season!!!)

Very nice sandy beach, clean accessible by stairs (behind the casino)
Night swim for my husband:)
(we didn't see a no-go sign??)
During the day it is just as pretty , very nice! We recommend:)

Nice city center and wheelchair accessible.
A little disappointed regarding the beach. The infrastructures are aging (dirty sanitary facilities, garbage outside the sanitary facilities: poorly adapted...,), PMR beach access not indicated, no carpets allowing comfortable access to the beach.
In short, it is not good to encounter motor difficulties.
The beach did not appear to be maintained.
We were taking a break on the road to the holidays and had just left a Brittany seaside town at the Label handiplage, but we expected other services for such a busy seaside town.

Accustomed spacious beach with a large proportion of promenade of Cabourg. The Casino/Grand Hotel is known for its bath architecture, but plays only a minor role in the general setting. The mostly shallow surf is ideal for swimming holidays with the family, the tides are also manageable. Compared to other seaside resorts, however, the gastronomy in the front row is manageable, so it does not hurt to pack something for yourself.

Huge, well-maintained beach, perfect for long walks at low tide. Small play area for children. Some free parking spaces nearby.
