Great Gin distillery tour

Fantastic Gin tour hosted by Scott, we liked the history behind the making of Darnleys Gin. Very informative and interesting, would recommend this to everyone who likes a wee gin.

Great gin tour

Knowledgeable tour guide who did a great job explaining how gin is made and the different botanicals that were used. I like that she split up the tasting to allow each flavor and gin to be its own unique experience.

Time well spent

Signed up for the gin tour. We were a party of three. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience made better by our tour guide - Dot. One of the party was originally from Fife and found that the tour filled in some of the history of Fife, the Wemyss family and gin of course. Another member of the family had actually lived in the Wemyss Castle when he was a little boy, seventy five years ago, and it certainly sparked some memories. Dot added in some humour making the tour enjoyable, interesting and understandable. Of course there was the gin tasting - again well conducted and explained. There is a well stocked and interesting shop along with a lovely coffee shop. Dot went out of her way to help with any queries before, during and after the tour. My mother was in a wheelchair and everything in the distillery is wheelchair accessible. Altogether a very enjoyable afternoon.

A fantastic day with Andrea.
We visited on a rainy day in May. Andrea Morris provided the sunshine! An informative, professional and fun introduction to the world of Darnleys Gin. These quaint yet contemporary buildings house a lovely, stylish and to the point display of Gins history and production. I can Highly recommend a visit

Great gin tour

Dot was extremely knowledgeable about the history of gin and particularly the Wemyss family. The gin tour was scheduled for an hour, but she was happy to chat for as long as we wanted, so it ended up at nearly 90 minutes. Tasted some lovely gins.

Very informative and interesting tour - Thanks Jenni

It was really interesting to hear the history behind the name and the product. Great to see the move to sustainable localism. Jenni is a well informed hostess keen to engage and answer questions. Loved meeting "Dororthy", the gin distillery.

I'm only speaking for the gin tour I went on, I would think the whisky tour is equally good.
