Nicely done, great experience especially for children. There are numerous knowledge and hands-on stations.
Twice a day is feeding, here you can learn interesting facts about the facility.
The entrance fee is almost entirely for the maintenance of the animals.

Ideal for holidays on the coast. Very informative, lots of hands-on stuff for kids and the feeding (11am and 3pm) is absolutely worth seeing. The lady then additionally explains some things. We really liked it.

Die Heuler sind einfach sooooooooo süß. Man sollte sich die Zeit nehmen und sich die Fütterung ansehen! Sowohl die Aufzuchtstation als auch das Waloseum sind sehr sehenswert und extrem informativ!

We went to the Waloseum and the seal station. Both are highly recommended. In the Waloseum we saw many little howlers and could watch feeding fish porridge. There is also an exhibition about whales and the birdlife of the North Sea. In the seal station are the howlers who can already eat whole fish. They can also be experienced underwater through a glass pane.

Because the weather was terrible, we needed an indoor alternative and found it here. The museum is equally interesting for adults and children, and if you're lucky, you can see young seals that have been found, brought here and later released back into the wild. It's nice that they're making such an effort to protect species here.

The visit here was very, very interesting and educational. The children often stood in front of the information boards with their eyes wide open and amazed.

We were at the seal sanctuary in August. It was a great trip but very crowded. But since the entrance fee goes to the seals, that's a positive thing. A great sanctuary and wonderful people who look after the animals.

It is very educational if you take in everything with your eyes open.
It made me and my daughter rather sad to see the stuffed animals.
It is great that there are such stations and also that you know that the money that is left there goes to the animals.
All in all, well done.

We visited the Waloseum. A small but nice museum. Here you can find a lot of interesting information about sperm whales and more. The exhibition is very suitable for children.

A beautiful station, everything has been redesigned, we had already been there in 2004 on a school trip. Now we had planned another visit as a family, we arrived at around ten o'clock. The signs in the park were a little confusing but we found the station. We got in straight away, it was a bit of a shame that we hadn't been told, or that there was no information anywhere, about feeding times. The visitors before us were informed about the Waloseum, but unfortunately this was not passed on to us. What disappointed me was the overcrowding, we had no chance of really seeing anything, it was far too crowded and unfortunately people have become so inconsiderate that an older person stood in front of a four-year-old child because he wanted to see something too, which meant we were denied what little view we had and so the visit was not such a success for us. Still a really great initiative.
