Awesome little Railway

2019年10月

After a nice drive through the Auckland countryside we were greeted by Bob and his amazing model railway. Our 3 year old loved it and Bob was very enthusiastic providing us all with lots of information about his railway. They are open on Sundays but are happy to open up on other days if you are passing by. Very accommodating and for only $2 you can't really beat it.

Superb miniature railway

Bob and Julie are friendly and enthusiastic hosts, happy to share lots of information about the set up they've created. Only $2 per person donation to enter. Open Sundays 10am till 5pm.

Fantasic Model Railway

The location is off the main road to Waiuku close to the turning for the Glenbrook Vintage Railway. the owner builder of the model railway is a retired transport company owner with a passion for model railways. The set up is huge with up to 5/6 trains all moving at the same time. The scene covers a dockside area, hill climbs, towns, rural areas and even goes into a longish climb that goes overhead of the visitor walking and viewing area and down the otherside of the building. The attention to detail is second to none.
It is a must visit for anyone whoever had or wanted a model railway. BRILLIANT
