We went to the zoo with our grandchild and as for the animals, we saw a lot.
Since the number of visitors was very large, the toilet facilities looked accordingly. There was garbage everywhere on the ground.
Control is urgently needed here. The staff also seems to be overwhelmed, the answers were rather snappy.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Kinder Zoo! My 18 month old had a blast and was so excited to see all the animals. The variety of animals was impressive, and it was clear that they are all well-cared for.
The zoo itself is beautifully maintained, with clean pathways, well-kept enclosures, and plenty of shaded areas to rest. The play areas and food spots were perfect for taking a break and enjoying the surroundings.
Overall, the Kinder Zoo exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s a perfect place for a family outing, and we can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommended!

Once and never again!
That a pony ride is offered okay... that's one thing. You can do it, but you don't have to.
Camel riding.. doesn't have to be in my opinion.
But elephant riding is an absolute no go!! Unfortunately witnessed (and others too) how the keepers brutally beat the elephants so that they could lie down and put the dishes on them. How can it be that you're so brutal with these great animals? Above all, what is taught to children who notice such a thing? How to deal with these great animals? For us it was definitely the first and last time we visited this zoo, too bad actually because there are nice little things for children. But we cannot and will no longer support such a thing.

Beautiful zoo, definitely an experience for the children. Entry per child CHF 8,-, for adults CHF 22.-
Elephant, pony and camel rides must be paid for separately. The same goes for the horse-drawn tram. Prices between CHF 4.- and 5.- per person.
Very beautiful zoo with lots of rest and barbecue areas. Definitely worth a trip. Can be reached on foot from the train station in 5 minutes. Right by the lake. Suitable for a walk afterwards. Prices and selection in the restaurant OK.
We will definitely be back.

A very nice Sunday afternoon at the children's zoo! Very clean! Very nice enclosures. The tour is very nice. The playgrounds are also very well equipped.

Overall, we enjoyed our zoo trip to Rapperswil. There are lots of things for the children to play with and, in our opinion, an interesting selection of animals that you can see. We were looking forward to the Himmapan Lodge, but unfortunately it was closed.
We didn't think the price-performance ratio was right. The staff were mostly unmotivated and inattentive, the tables and seats in the restaurant were dirty, and the toilet facilities at the entrance were in an unacceptable condition. That was very borderline.

Very beautiful zoo. Great for kids and very informative. But there were two things that left a uneasy feeling. First the petting zoo with the goats. No employee was there to take care of animals and kids alike. Of course, it is primarily the parents job to look after the kids but it wouldn't harm to have a person there to ask questions and to take care. Second the penguins, the glass protection was too low so that kids could reach over the glass and touch the penguins. I am not sure if this is healthy for the birds and could be dangerous for the kids if the penguins pick. A lot of parents didn't care.

Wir waren mit unserer kleinen Tochter 2 Jahre im Zoo. Sie hatte großen Spaß und viel Freude im Zoo da die Tiere sehr nah sind und auch nicht so scheu. Sie hatte am Elefanten reiten den meisten Spaß.
Es hat genug spiel Möglichkeiten und die Ziegen darf man Streicheln.
Das Essen war gut aber wie in jedem Zoo eher hochpreisiger.
Der Eintritt für die Erwachsenen war auch eher im oberen Rahmen.
Mit Kindern können wir den Zoo nur weiter empfehlen.
Es hat genug spiel Möglichkeiten und die Ziegen darf man Streicheln.
Das Essen war gut aber wie in jedem Zoo eher hochpreisiger.

Preis > Leistung sehr schlecht. Nur ein Restaurant (von 3) geöffnet, Hälfte der Tiere im Winterschlaf, keine Papageien-Show, kein Rössli-Tram.

What a great firts impressio . You are in the deep countryside of Switzerland and you are not even in the zoo that you can see the girafe and the beautiful stork's nest. This is the perfect and safe place to take your kids ofr a day of fun
