Great organization, we felt safe and in good hands. Experience to repeat, rafting offers a privileged point of view of a wonderful nature (the canyons of the Lao River) that you can hardly observe otherwise. A special thanks to our Chilean guides David and Diego, who know the river like their pockets (from what I understand they are used to rivers of much different difficulty). I (who are not exactly “fit”), my wife and my 15-year-old daughter, have been on the intermediate route for three hours in total safety.

We returned to this place after 20 years. It has been expanded, improved and organized even more than it was back in 2004. But one thing has remained unchanged: the professionalism, sympathy, efficiency and organization of all the staff who work there. A special note of merit goes to the Legendary Mephisto (Giampiero). Mythical and incredible Guide of the structure that with his reconfirmed and highly appreciated sympathy, professionalism 'and passion that puts us in his profession gives the whole experience a significant added value. We had met, known and appreciated him in 2004............ and we found him pleasantly more charged, efficient and professional than ever during our experience today. POLLINO RAFTING: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Breathtaking views that can only be admired from the Lao River.
A beautiful route with guides.
David very good and patient, with the right advice for us beginners and Diego that shot after shot gave us a wonderful memory to relive at home until the next adventure. Definitely to be repeated!!!
Excellent organization, attentive and qualified staff.
We thank the whole team, no one excluded.

Yesterday I lived a unique and precious experience: I practiced canyoning on Pollino, in a group, led by Mephisto.
Ever since we arrived on the riverbank and took our first steps to get into her bed, I was enveloped by a feeling of purity and I was moved: the majesty of Mother Nature leaves no escape, it explodes in the heart and brings back to the essence. Nothing matters except “coming home”, that is, feeling one with the wonderful universe in which we are immersed and of which we are part.
It was a walk, with some small climbing, with some swimming in the icy and transparent water of the river. We took a bath in front of the Waterfall, the queen of the river and also met the wise guardian of the river.
Mephisto with kindness, authority and passion invited us to respect and listen to every element encountered along the way, to cross the places but without altering them, to contact our ability to listen to parts of us, which are at the same time parts of Nature.
He invited us to feel contact with rocks and stones sometimes slippery, sometimes covered with mosses, with the whole palm of our hands, to find stability and to sharpen our senses.
The smells, the colors, the icy waters, the roof of trees over our heads, and feeling safe and guided by Mephisto, everything was really beautiful and incisive.
We also practiced a short meditation in front of the waterfall, just before returning.
I am grateful and happy for this experience, which I highly Recommendation!

Wonderful adventure!!
Arriving at the campsite we are immediately greeted by the Pollino Rafting instructors, who made us become familiar with the equipment we should have used. Our Guide Francesco “Pausa” was formidable but at the same time fun in making us discover this unexpected corner of Basilicata. After an ice cream “baptism” we were ready to face this adventure. The 16km long river is an unusual route to enjoy over half a day. In order not to forget these moments it was then possible to pick up photos taken by another team member.
On arrival waiting for us was the driver who knew how to deal with the way back in a docile way (which is not obvious).
Once back at the campsite it was possible to regenerate at the bar present in the structure.
Super recommended experience!

I begin by complimenting the guides on their professionalism, preparation, friendliness and sympathy.
It was a unique experience and to be repeated many times if possible maybe changing the type of route.
Soft rafting is suitable for families with children, teenagers but also for the elderly if still agile. It lasts an hour.
Being ecstatic by the wonders of nature can only be understood if you live this fantastic adventure.
For those who are brave do not miss the experience of swimming in the river. It's really refreshing.
Another very nice service for a fee, is the opportunity to have all the photo set that is done along the way.
In the end you also have the opportunity to shower.
Poetaevi costume, rock shoes, change of clothes, tablecloths and shower supplies.
