I hesitate to write a review on this beach, as much of the joy of visiting it comes from it being so spacious and uncrowded! But it is truly stunning, about a mile of sand, rock pools, cliffs (tip - keep away, they're falling down!), wildlife.

Beautiful, extensive, plenty of interesting rock formations to scramble up or just admire. Slightly remote - both a drive and a 10-15min walk. Come a couple of hours after high tide to get a decent amount of sand to play on - and time to explore the full (large) extent of the beach without worrying about getting caught. Lovely short cliff top walk to Martin’s Haven.

Marloes sands is gobsmacking, when the tide is fully out the beach is enormous, sandy, with large rock formations dotted about for rock pooling. The beach is hard to get to, parking in the national trust car park for £6percarper day or in the farmers field for £4 per vehicle per day [This parking is reliant on an honesty box which did not look like it was getting much use when we walked past]. Once parked there is a moderate walk to the beach itself which is about 10-15minutes from the closest point in the car park. Once on the beach, walk to the far end which is almost deserted and you will have the most amazing beach to yourself. Toilets are up be the cafe near the carpark, and are open even when the cafe is closed (Tuesdays)

Some effort to get to and get on to, but well worth it.

We took one of the circular routes from the nearby National Trust car park and it was a lovely walk down to the beach and back up to the top of the cliffs and along the coastline. Beautiful beach which was really quite with plenty of rocks on the shore to explore. Be sure to stop at Runwayskiln on your way back.

Great beach, one of our favourites during our recent stay. Long, quiet beach with lots to explore. Parking in the farmer’s field cost £4 per entry and the walk to the beach is significantly shorter, 5min compared to the 15-20min walk from the national trust car park which charges £3 for 3 hours or £6 for the whole day. The walk to the beach is not disabled or pram friendly and can be tricky for smaller kids after a long day on the beach. No facilities on the beach but there is a cafe by the NT car park.

The dramatic coastline cliffs drop down to a stunning beach. Great for exploring rock pools and climbing over boulders and rocks while admiring the views from sea level
