Excellent museum in historic town centre building with many fabulous exhibits. The extremely knowledgeable and welcoming volunteer staff helped me make the most of my visit. I also took the town walking tour in the evening with the museum curator which was fascinating and very informative. Well worth the trip to Huntingdon.

Extremely friendly welcome. Small but well laid out museum full of excellent exhibits. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Thank you Stuart Orme and team!

My Partner and I went to Huntingdon last year we had food and on the way back to the car we found The Cromwell Museum, The 2 guides inside were good they knew a lot about the history of the place, It was free to get in

What a brillant little museum.
So much history that we learnt .
The little tour that we had with the volunteers was very interesting and they made us very welcome .
We had so much fun dressing up in the costumes .
of that period .
And would highly recommend a visit

Great little museum containing interning facts about Oliver Cromwell, helpful guide person and free to access, the museum delivers walking history tours which are really interesting

Most interesting and informative. We were grateful for a guide to explain the museum to us and the life of Cromwell since it's been many years since we learned about him in school (like over 50! :) Loved that it was free and you can give donations, that incites me to give far more than a fee to go in!

A great little museum with interesting exhibitions, some great artefacts, and staff who are very friendly and knowledgeable.

We visited as we were in the area and were welcomed by friendly staff who gave us an overview of Cromwell and the museum.
The museum itself is small but packed with information and artifacts as well as some dressing up items for the kids.
We were there maybe 35-40 minutes but it is small just be aware

Based inside what would have been Cromwells school, this museum is small but packed with artefacts.
Some notable help from animations and film. Well worth a visit but take your glasses as text is often very small.

Volunteers very knowledgeable and friendly. So much on display, will never learn it all! The women spies ought to be given more prominence - well worth a visit or two!

Thanks for your review and for taking the time to comment on your visit. Can I just mention that there is coffee available nearby and the Museum closes most days at 3.30 pm. Full details can be found on the link to the website.

Mr & Mrs L, I'm sorry for taking a while to reply to your query. I'm sorry but dogs aren't allowed in the museum. The museum is quite small, so you would be able to have a quick look round independently, whilst one of you looks after the dog outside. There is a park area, 2 minutes walk away from the museum which you may like to make use of too. If there's anything else we can help with please do let me know, Many thanks, The Cromwell Museum
