Had an amazing time at the Bakewell Store, staff were incredibly helpful and cheerful 😁 The building itself is beautiful and well maintained not a cobweb in sight ❤️

The visit was underwhelming and very disappointing. I visited with my friend on a Saturday morning. We travelled 1.5 hrs to get there and once the initial gushing welcome was over the lady who met us at the door became quickly disinterested when she realised we were not there to spend big money. The main purpose of our visit was so my friend could try on a few pairs of boots as she is a larger lady she was uncertain if the explorers especially would fit. They didn't and this was rather bluntly pointed out by the member of staff. I did purchase a beautifull Clarence bag as it was my reason for visiting, but I can honeslty say we most definitely won't return to this shop or any other.

I have spoken with our Bakewell Team this morning, regarding your visit and would like to assure you that it is never the intention of any of our Team members to make anyone feel less than welcome.
As I am sure you can appreciate, our Teams often need to split their time between parties in store to ensure that everyone receives the necessary attention. This is never based on any kind of indication of how much someone is going to spend with us - this is, in fact, not something that any of our Teams assess or consider as our goal is only ever to offer the best customer experience possible.
In relation to your friend's experience - we truly are sorry if she was made to feel uncomfortable and your feedback has been passed on to the entirety of the Team.

Stunning store in a stunning location. The staff are friendly and attentive. All the products are to die for it’s hard to choose what to buy next. We bought our dogs some collars and can’t wait to come back for more !

We visited Fairfax & Favor in Bakewell for the first time on Saturday. A gorgeous shop with so many beautiful things ❤️ We were served by a lovely lady named Lisa whose customer service was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and she was happy to try different styles & sizes until I chose my perfect boots. Thank you Lisa for a fab shopping experience … we’ll definitely be back !!

The Bakewell store made me feel very welcome. Lisa and Amy and the rest of the ladies were more than happy to help me with my choices. Nothing was too much trouble. Would I go back YES. Excellent service and there is something for everyone.

Loved the shop, beautiful building and layout. Staff really friendly and helpful. We ended up ordering a pair of shoes and they were delivered within two days :-)

As soon as the Bibury was released, a quick trip to the Bakewell store was needed, as I knew I had to have it, I just couldn’t decide what size. The ladies in the store got both sizes off the shelf for me to compare and to help me decide, in the words of Amy “ go big or go home” so the large bag was purchased
