Totally underwhelmed. Shop shelves were practically bare throughout the shop (unless you wanted to do an overpriced grocery shop).
Not inviting in the slightest - made Dobbies chain look good - which is going some!

We bought a lovely bbq pack of meat which was very reasonable and good quality. The staff were really helpful when I asked about products within the store. However, they clearly saw a tourist coming. I ordered a bag of logs for a campfire and drove around the side to pick it up. The man was helpful and insisted on loading the bag in the car for me. Well, the top of the bag contained several well cut logs. The rest of the bag consisted of about three humongous bits of tree trunk which were way to big for a campfire around the tent. Sack of lies.

Staff were unfriendly and seemed irritated by our presence. Food in cafe was mediocre. Expensive shop products although the fresh fruit and veg looked good. Disappointed.

This farmshop has an amazing variety of food stuffs. We were staying in a holiday cottage in Kilmington and this shop provided us with some great meals whilst there.
Most items seemed reasonably priced and the quality of fruit and veg extremely good.
There is a large gluten free section, but it was lacking bread on our visit.
The cafe here has excellent customer service and a good choice of food and drink. I was able to get alternate milk in my coffees and gluten free bread on my sausage sandwich. The picture I took shows the gluten free bread didn’t hold together very well, but it was some of the tastiest gluten free breads I’ve had.
Saturdays are super busy here. There is tons of parking, but the cafe needs more tables to cope with it’s popularity.

Visit spoilt by staff arguing on the shop floor. One member was called out for ‘cockiness’ and another told to ‘go to the office. NOW.’
Led to a dreadful atmosphere.
Such a shame, we love mooching around here. Hoping it’s a one-off and the staff are happy in their work.

Always visit when in the area, they sell my favourite ginger beer for a start!
The selection of fruit and veg is phenomenal and a good price. This visit I picked up a couple of Birthday cards, cleaning items and bakery goods too.
Staff are always pleasant and helpful packing my purchases into a box each time.
Noticed this visit that there are wooden cabins in the car park with independent businesses in them

Great farm shop with an incredible selection of food and drinks. We did our weekly shop here while away in Devon and everything was fresh and delicious

Another very good lunch stop en route to our holiday hotel. A plate of smoked mackerel with beetroot and orange. Delicious. Can’t wait for the return journey!

Much bigger than the average farm shop with extensive range of usual chutneys but also exotic cooks ingredients. Lovely bread pasties, frozen produce to finish off cooking at home. Well worth the extra price inevitably paid for quality local and hard to source produce.

Yes they do.....and locally made alcohol, jams, chutneys, etc....a great choice
