Easy to find but not quite as expected, probably because the sea was quite calm at the time. Worth visiting if you're within the vicinity.

Such a beautiful view no matter what weather. The blow hole is even more spectacular when the sea is rough. The wilder the better without a doubt.

Not far from Belmullet you will come across these amazing views.We were there on a very calm day and sea look beautiful with the sun shining on it.Well worth taking a few hours here just to chill out.

Historic site, with history boards giving a background to the area. stunning views and you are really close to Atlantic waves crashing below. Blow hole in middle down which you can see waves crashing right below you. Apparently at times the surge is so great the water can splash out of the top, hence called a blow hole. Didn't happen when we were there. Wear sensible shoes as can be mucky and a good coat as the wind coming off the sea can be challenging and of course freezing .

Not quite sure if this was a fort
Brought here by a local who clearly knew how to get here down a narrow road

Definitely a must see when visiting Belmullet. It was an amazing sight, takes your breath away, quite literally at times.

We visited on the 29th..my partner asked me to marry him standing on this point' the views are absolutely breathtaking.. it's so calm and peaceful.. beautiful county we can't wait to return
