We had lunch here twice whilst visiting Clonmel. On both occasions the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The staff are all very friendly and the Guinness is great!

Nice friendly staff. Lovely food and good size servings, so make sure you're hungry. If visiting Clonmel, give this plave a shout.10/10

When we go out we meet up sometimes in mulcahys ...it's always comfortable and friendly. If you want food be it day time or night they have a restaurant And food is very good.

Very good for food and staff very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is the best in Town and you will never go away hungry

if in clonmel this is definitely the place to go for lunch it very spacious and you can pick from their selection of food bight and and cheerful staff are very good here

I really like this place. The food is really good. The sizzling fajitas is excellent! Vegetarian friendly. The pub is really nice, there is a pool table room in the back so it makes a nice night out with friends. There staff is always nice and there is a smoking area.

This is a busy informal pub restaurant in Clonmel town centre. Has a great history going back to the days when they bottled their own beer in the last century.
We had an amazing lunch at very reasonable prices, really great choice of food , buffet style, and service with a smile in good surroundings.
It’s obviously well liked by the locals for both food and pints.
The rooms overhead the pub are cheap and cheerful, safe and central.
A good choice to stay and eat.

Carvery was fantastic so other half drooled. Plenty of choice. Salad bar best selection I've seen jalapenos. Picked onion. Sun blush tom I could go on. Yummy has our 5 star

Good food and service highly recommended. Best cod and chips I've had in a while. Lasagne was piping hot and looked really tasty as were all the meals. Waitress was very friendly and would definitely go back.

I recently stayed in this hotel with a group of friends. The room was clean and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We had thought that we would venture out to a local restaurant on our second night but we decided to eat in Mulcahy's again. We had another very delicious meal. Portion sizes were huge. After a very tasty main course on our second night we were tempted to try a desert. I had a VERY large lemon meringue tart which was delicious but I definitely over indulged.
We enjoyed our stay and we enjoyed the food but really what made our stay was the excellent and friendly service from the staff. From the girl who checked us in to the guys who took great care of us in the bar, to the girls who served us at breakfast, we just couldn't fault the friendly and helpful service we received.
I'm giving this 4/5 simply because it's not quite a luxurious hotel but the service is 5* and I would reccommend this hotel and restaurant / bar to anyone.
