The woman at the tourist office was super helpful: making a call for us to a boat charter company, urging us to see their history exhibit, and pointing out places to visit on the map. It is located by the water and we had to ask two people before we finally found our way there, but it was so worth the stop.

I am not happy to write about it, but my last experience from visiting Youghal was very disgusting !!! Dog poop on the footpaths ,street ,beach and boardwalk . My child was playing with the sand on the beach and had hands dirty with the poop .Bicycle tyres dirty as well . Everyone should be able to enjoy this beautiful place ,but it is hard when you have to be careful not to step on the poop .This place is like minefield of poop ! It looks like dog owners are complete ignorants. Time to do something about it ! They should start thinking about other people especially kids and people on the wheelchairs . At the moment this place is not safe !

il ne faut surtout pas manquer de faire à pied ce circuit qui présente de nombreux monuments du centre ville (17 au total) repérés par des bornes qui comportent des photos anciennes des lieux et des explications en plusieurs langues dont le français

Youghal is a scenic town located by the sea. The historic walk is easy to do. It takes you around the historic area and where Sir Walter Raleigh lived. The churches are fascinating and have a lot of history attached to them. There is also a lovely garden to visit and seaside area. We thought it was great.

The historic quarter of Youghal is well worth a look around. There is a faded glory about it all . From the clock tower to the Catholic church to Raleigh house to the alms house and walshes tower is a short circuit and should be done by all visitors to the town

After arriving in Galway with my Friend Margaret, and did some shopping,we then drove out to Salthill& Had an amazing Lunch in The Beautiful Galway Bay Hotel, Their was a lovely Young Man working in Bar , came down to us with the menu& had the most friendly smile & manners to us , Emrick i think was his name. I had Turkey & Ham & my frend had lovely tender roast Beef, served with lovely veg & potatoes, just mouth watering & Hot. The hotel was extremely busy as Their was A big Conference on that day.As always when visit this Hotel , The Deputy manager Stephen, came over to welcome us as well as Guiding all the other guests who were there for conference to their seating for their lunches. Well done Stephen & Thank you sooh much Ur kindness & welcome to us & that big smile, all staff on that day 11th were excellent. Food & hotel Staff are of high standards. Big Kudos to you all, Stephen , Emerick, Chiara & Emma & not Forgetting John .Will be back soon.😊

The Heritage Trail is a great way to see a quick slice of the history of Youghal. Among other sights, you see the city gates, the old jail, and the walkway to the cells. There is a garden (complete with cannon), and of course the city walls. A nice hike with informative placards with historical information.

このトレイルを辿っていけば、そんなに大きな町ではないので２時間もあれば、一通り見る事ができます。ヨールはコークから程近く、港町の雰囲気を味わえる良い町です。

Best way to see the historical sites, of this wonderful town. With map in hand (which we got from the info centre) and the downloaded App. We proceeded on the heritage trail which we found, to be incredibly interesting, (allow plenty of time to take it all in). The highlight of the trail was exploring The Raleigh Quarter, (an in depth self guided tour of St Mary's Collegiate Church and area). Definitely a must do when visiting Youghal.

Yes in theory John however alot of it is based around the streets of Youghal, as you would expect, which can be narrow in places with alot of moving up and down onto the pavement, and busy. Also a little hill up to the beautiful church. We opted for a carrier for our baby rather than the pram for this reason. That said, if you guys are happy for it not to be a completely smooth ride it's definitely worth it.
