Firstly staff very helpful & friendly. Lifeguards very attentive. Kids happy with pool. Now the negatives, place needs good clean probably looked more dirty as lot needs upgrading & fixing including tiling which looks old & dirty. Some showers & toilets out of use, mushroom thing that should spray water not working in kids pool.

Astounded about the degree of mismanagement. Broken tiles everywhere for the past half year, nothing about it was done, except of putting signs around it. Re-booking day for swimming lessons is always like being on a Turkish bazar. Staff has no clue what they are doing, but at least they are running around like headless chicks.Parents are waiting up to 2,5 hrs for re-booking. Child will never pass the group on first try, even if they can already properly swim. Swimming teachers are not capable to teach more than 2 children, but have up to 10 kids in their group. Can only highly recommend to look for another centre with better and cleaner amenities and properly trained staff, you definitely won’t find it at Aura Leisure Centre.

I would highly recommend Aura Leisure Centre. We had a group of 9 children with ASD in for a leisurely swim. The staff went above and beyond both prior to our arrival and during our time there. I would like to give a special mention to Jason who went above his call of duty during our second visit. Aura caters for all needs and abilities with three varying levels of pools. You won't regret your visit. Thanks and we will see you again!

Went for a swim with kids... Changing rooms, showers in a bad filthy state. Hairs, rubbish and what not on the ground.
With current virus alert, one would hope that Aura would take better measures for health and safety but far from it.
Anything can be caught and no none seen to regularly disinfect and mop floors.
A disgrace.
Last week in Aqua Dome Tralee, worlds between them.

It has a big water slide and sometimes it has a bouncy castle on water and that was the best time there is also a water mushroom and a baby slide there is also snacks that you can buy in your way out

I myself was bringing a group of Spanish students here today and they enjoyed the whole centre very much, especially the water slide! The whole place is spotlessly clean and airy. All ages are welcome as my cousin was also there today just enjoying some time in the pool with her 6 month old.
However,being there for a while, I was asked to move from my seat. I had absolutely no issue doing so because there was a group of children with autism at the centre for their class this morning too. I'm a primary school teacher and I fully understand how difficult it can be to manage children who have autism at any point on the spectrum and why the routine of them sitting at the tables where we were was important. The staff at Aura were totally accommodating to them and they are seemed to have lots of fun and joy from being there in a safe and encouraging capacity.
Lovely to see an open display of acceptance and love 😊

The pool is quite cold inside and the other minus is that you have only 1.15 minutes in the water.
As with kids it was difficult to manage this time.
Overall nice pool but overcrowded

We come here all the time , kids love it , they should put time table up on Web as when lessons been done , otherwise a real good place.

I arrived with my wife at 1:40 for what was advertised as a "Freetime" public session running until 2:30pm. We were only in the water for ten minutes when a bus load of up to 40 young teenage school girls arrived and completely took over the main pool. There were some strong swimmers using the fast lane so that was not an option for us. We had to leave the pool immediately.We complained at reception on the way out but there was no suggestion of a refund or even an apology.The girls at reception said that the school girls were entitled to arrive at a public session,but it was obviously a school outing as they arrived by bus in their school uniforms and were not all paying individually. Overall a very disappointing outing for us as we had travelled 25 miles from our own town,
