One of the Highlights of our Trip!!! Cannot say enough! This is a "Must" for anyone going to Ireland who will be in the area. Definitely stay at least one night if you can. You will NOT be disappointed. We stayed one night celebrating our Wedding Anniversary and everything was amazing. The Service, the room, facilities and just the overall treatment. Very Special! Very Well Done, Dromoland! The Food: Superb! The Staff: Amazingly Friendly, Accommodating, and made us feel uniquely welcomed and special. We will definitely be back, and enjoy referring your establishment as a "Must" to anyone in conversation.

Wonderful experience for our group. Leave plenty of time. It shouldn’t be a rushed experience. The food was great and the tea excellent, but the staff is the jewel in their crown. Everyone was wonderful.

I've never stayed at Dromoland but live locally. I've tried the spa, afternoon tea and coffee at the Inn. All have been absolutely fabulous experiences and the grounds and hotel are immaculately kept. The walled garden is a must visit especially in summer!

We stayed at Dromoland Castle for two nights the third week of May. We wanted a "crash pad" before starting home. We were thrilled with out stay. Our room was huge, with lovely windows looking out and beautiful wallpaper and decor. The bathroom was well equipped and so luxurious. The beds were heavenly.
I loved the grounds and we did quite a bit of walking and exploring. We squeezed in a carriage ride and also participated in the falconry experience. Both were fascinating. The food was very good and the breakfasts offered a wide range of cold and hot selections. The list of whiskys was extensive and I tried 2 different ones. Staff was friendly, professional, and got the job done.

Nádherné prostredie, krásne, pohodlné izby, všade čisto, vynikajúce jedlo, profesionálny a milý prístup od personálu, ktorý sa o nás starali a vedeli sa úspešne vysporiadať aj s nadštandardnými požiadavkami. Všetko dokonale upravené. Vonkajší bazén s lehátkami, golf a tenis courty, fitness sála, wellness pre dokonalý oddych a rôzne daľšie možností na vonkajšie aktivity aj pre rodiny s deťmi. Nádherný anglický park ideálne na prechádzky. Perfektné miesto na svadby. Boli sme tu v lete a máme nezabudnuteľný zážitok. Jediný problém sme mali klímou, ktorý napriek tomu, že fungoval, nestačil na schladenie izby. No celkovo sa nám tu veľmi zapáčilo, určite sa vrátime!! :) Ďakujeme, prajeme veľa spokojných zákazníkov! :)

Came for a look around as a potential wedding venue and Kealan Foley was incredibly knowledgeable and kind! We got a full tour of the grounds with all of the castle’s history and anecdotes! Kealan and his charm were excellent, but the castle itself really sells it! Everything about the experience was wonderful. I cannot wait to come back!

Only stayed 1 night and note enough. Has so much to do, with a cost. Very pricy but a cool experience even if you just explore the grounds. Be prepared to get lost in the castle. Had a fancy dinner and the staff was top notch. Most activities need a reservation, do so in advance. Archery, shooting clays, falconry, golf, paddle boarding, fishing.
Note that soda is always charged separate if you order a mixed drink.

Davey was engaging, knowledgeable l, and friendly. For any nature lovers, or anyone who wants to learn about birds in their environment, it is well worth the time. Truly one of our best experiences in Ireland.

Very posh and expensive. Lovely grounds to visit. Lovely staff. Afternoon tea is lovely. Staff slightly stuck up but there is a few nice ones who work in the kitchen and waitressing. But the hotel side are bit uppity

It's a hotel, they meet you at the door and take your car away and take in your bags. I'd email them about tours or meals. It's pretty impressive.

Yes the castle and grounds are beautiful. The carriage ride gives you gives you history of Ireland and the castle.

Can you stop in for breakfast if you aren't a guest? We fly into Shannon and would like to start our stay with a breakfast at a castle.

I would expect that they could do breakfast since there is a restaurant there that's not just for guests, but I couldn't say for certain. I am sure a quick phone call would sort that. I think it would be a great place for breakfast after a long haul flight, (even though I didn't enjoy my lunch there), a very relaxing way to acclimatise to your new time zone!
