Mrs. White's afternoon tea was an absolute delight! The setting of the castle is elegant and luxurious with the dining room featuring views across the lake. The table setting was lovely and traditional. All of the food was delicious and the portions were generous - the savoury items were particularly noteworthy. The tea itself was also superior (although as a tea drinker I prefer it when you are able to control the steep time to prevent over-steeping). Service was excellent; the staff were friendly and were attentive without being officious. The live pianist was the perfect finishing touch!

Had the pleasure of playing the golf course & ate in the clubhouse prior to our round.
Staff in the clubhouse were very friendly & attentive...the Club Sandwich was lovely.
The Proshop staff & the staff at the starter's hut were really friendly, chatty & helpful & were doing a great job to facilitate members, guests & those of us playing the Irish Golfer Event. They have some great merchandise in the shop.
The course is superb, brilliant greens & immaculately presented, a stern test too off the white tees. The lake is used brilliantly for some holes with great carries off the tees & testing approaches.
We look forward to returning

I hosted a round number birthday party for my wife with 30 friends last weekend at Dromoland and everything was terrific. Just fantastic. The staff, rooms and food were outstanding, particularly the staff, who are very pleasant and efficient. Really nice to stay at a hotel with a large and experienced team, so different from so many other luxury properties in a post Covid world. Kudos to all

Fantastic place to stay rooms are exceptional. Plenty of activities to do for kids and adult centrally located. Can’t say enough about how we can’t wait for our next stay at this exceptional property

We returned for a wonderful midweek Christmas break .
The Castle is still stunning and always manages to feel cosy with its beautiful fireplaces, sofas and armchairs .
The food in the Earl of Thomond dining room was superb.
Our rooms were beautiful.
My daughter enjoyed a lovely massage at the lovely spa.
My husband and son enjoyed workouts in the small but adequate gym and they really enjoyed fishing on the lake.
The new gift shop Charlotte & Co is a lovely new addition stocking beautiful sustainable, Irish fashion.
You know in life, when you visit one hotel over a period of many years, it can’t possibly retain the same atmosphere every visit … but Dromoland Castle does just that.
The atmosphere is beautiful.
The staff seems very content therefore you feel their warmth.
Eleanor warmly welcomed us at the entrance, remembering us from 2022 and looking genuinely happy to see us.
The staff retention at Dromoland Castle , (especially in an era with a substantial staffing crisis in Ireland ), really stands out.
It’s always a sign of a very well managed business when staff stay for many years. Mark Nolan runs a great ship.
Such a happy place and such a delight to visit.
I overheard a Spanish staff member speaking with Spanish guests telling them how happy he is and describing his job as “una maravilla” : “a marvel” . It really was so nice to hear.
It’s almost unfair to name only one or two of the team when all members of the team are so lovely, but 2 newer members the last couple of years, Eleanor , and Scottish Matthew are definitely great additions to an already strong team.
Warmest thanks to Mark Nolan & all his Dromoland Castle team for a lovely few days peaceful relaxation in beautiful Dromoland Castle.

This place is in a class all by itself. This is a luxury castle hotel, with valet parking, doormen, and an escort to your room. The castle is beautiful and the food is good as well. The people are very nice and attentive. We've stayed in four castles while we were in Ireland, and Dromoland was the cream of the crop! This is a wonderful place to stay or visit. If you're ever in the area, please visit this castle; even if it's for only one night; you won't regret it.

One of the Highlights of our Trip!!! Cannot say enough! This is a "Must" for anyone going to Ireland who will be in the area. Definitely stay at least one night if you can. You will NOT be disappointed. We stayed one night celebrating our Wedding Anniversary and everything was amazing. The Service, the room, facilities and just the overall treatment. Very Special! Very Well Done, Dromoland! The Food: Superb! The Staff: Amazingly Friendly, Accommodating, and made us feel uniquely welcomed and special. We will definitely be back, and enjoy referring your establishment as a "Must" to anyone in conversation.

Wonderful experience for our group. Leave plenty of time. It shouldn’t be a rushed experience. The food was great and the tea excellent, but the staff is the jewel in their crown. Everyone was wonderful.

I've never stayed at Dromoland but live locally. I've tried the spa, afternoon tea and coffee at the Inn. All have been absolutely fabulous experiences and the grounds and hotel are immaculately kept. The walled garden is a must visit especially in summer!

We stayed at Dromoland Castle for two nights the third week of May. We wanted a "crash pad" before starting home. We were thrilled with out stay. Our room was huge, with lovely windows looking out and beautiful wallpaper and decor. The bathroom was well equipped and so luxurious. The beds were heavenly.
I loved the grounds and we did quite a bit of walking and exploring. We squeezed in a carriage ride and also participated in the falconry experience. Both were fascinating. The food was very good and the breakfasts offered a wide range of cold and hot selections. The list of whiskys was extensive and I tried 2 different ones. Staff was friendly, professional, and got the job done.

It's a hotel, they meet you at the door and take your car away and take in your bags. I'd email them about tours or meals. It's pretty impressive.

Yes the castle and grounds are beautiful. The carriage ride gives you gives you history of Ireland and the castle.

I would expect that they could do breakfast since there is a restaurant there that's not just for guests, but I couldn't say for certain. I am sure a quick phone call would sort that. I think it would be a great place for breakfast after a long haul flight, (even though I didn't enjoy my lunch there), a very relaxing way to acclimatise to your new time zone!
