I have been to this spa many many times, so I can tell the slight differences each time. The staff are wonderful, absolutely no issues there whatsoever... its the facilities and the cost now. This is no longer a 5 or 4 star facility. Each time I go, there are more areas closed for maintenance or not working. Steam room or shower in womens only area, at least 1 of those every time. The main jacuzzi was out of order this time, the one for couples.. real big issue. There just seems to be more and more every time I go, so its clear maintaining the spa is gone down hill. The Manager needs to get on top of this, the standard is slipping. 5 star spas do not have such issues on an ongoing basis.
The cost has gone up, the lunch is less and less each visit ( smaller coffee, no cream and now 1 pot jam between 2 people ) Paying a lot more for this package now than we did when we started to go up for the day but with all the rest, cut backs & maintenance issues... it is no longer worth the treat as it doesnt feel like a special day out any longer. Such a pity as staff are wonderful, the area is beautiful, but 100% this spa is no longer 5/4 star.
ALSO 1 last issue, get rid of phone use please.. in every area there were phones, absolutely ridiculous. A spa day and blue screens everywhere.

I was staying at the resort and booked a hot stone massage. The whole experience was amazing. The treatment room was so dark and the table was so comfortable (I'd never had a massage where the face-up time was with my head and feet raised, it was really nice.) The hot stones were perfect. Afterwards, I was led to the Silent Serenity Room where I pretty much could have stayed all day, with my sorbet and cucumber water. The view out the windows of the perfect blue sky, my muscles relaxed, and my head clear -- honestly it added so much to the whole experience. I never want a massage where I just have to go home afterwards. Highly recommend!

Hotel itself is beautiful with fabulous views across the wicklow countryside. I was a little disappointed on arrival to realise that the pool area itself is quite dark but also that there was a water aerobics class on with an instructor shouting instructions to the people in the pool. Not exactly the relaxing spa day you had in mind, also the only area for mixed genders is in this area downstairs so as a couple this is where we would have had to spend most of our time. To avoid the class we went upstairs to the relaxation room and just chilled out before our lunch. Our treatments were planned after lunch. Unfortunately on the website it just said lunch in the cafe spa but actually it was more like a light afternoon tea. I am vegetarian and when booking I mentioned it 3 times, however I saw one of the veg sandwich options was cucumber and I can’t eat it so I asked if possible could I have an extra of one of the other veggie options as I was starving and was told yes. However the food was so disappointing, I was only given 2 tiny savoury options (boyfriend given 3), one which was a dollop of tomato hummus on a tiny piece of bread and the other a piece of a sandwich with some sort of Cajun spread on it but nothing else? It was like eating bread and butter. After lunch we had our treatments and they where all very good except they lost my treatment form so I had to explain everything I had written on it and also with the facial I noticed she did it in the dark, no additional light was put on which I thought if someone is looking at your skin and recommending products would be a prerequisite, however that being said it was quite tranquil and relaxing. We chilled out again for a little while upstairs before leaving. Overall it was a nice enough day but I expected more for the food and also for the place and its reputation considering the price of the package. In all honesty probably wouldn’t return, have had better experiences elsewhere in Ireland.

I recently went to Powerscourt spa and did the Mum to Be package and would recommend!
I have to mention the spa receptionist team, they are so lovely. One in particular recognised every patron, what treatment they were having done, checked in with them every step of the way - so warm and welcoming. It was next level service.
My treatment was also so lovely, Bernie did my massage and it was so relaxing. She was clearly knowledgable about pregnancy massages and I felt in good hands.
The facilities speak for themselves - absolutely fabulous. A moment of silence is needed for the sorbet post massage!! Absolutely divine.
The only recommendation is around the light lunch and changing it for pregnant people. There were 3 savoury options on the menu (what I was most looking forward to), one of which was already veggie which was handy (attached pics). Instead I was given two bread with just hummus (nothing else). We are allowed to have veg and (pasturised!) cheese and that would have made them enjoyable. If they can’t be changed and you are pregnant, I would just avoid the lunch altogether. For the price paid, it wasn’t good.
That said, I will 100% still come back and plan to buy a voucher there soon!

I had such a relaxing solo trip to the spa at Powerscourt. From the moment you are arrive all the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The spa is beautiful, especially the tranquility room over looking the grounds. Just bliss, and so quiet. Bushra did my treatment and it was perfection, also Dan as always is an amazing therapist. I will be back for another escape soon.

I can not rate the nanodermabrasion and LED facial highly enough. While still providing the highest level of relaxation and beautiful Espa products this facial delivers results. The deep exfoliation removing dead skin cells and leaving skin ready for the perfect cooling mask applied with LED intensifying the result of clear even skin tone. Brighter toned and clear skin is Immediately obvious. It certainly is the best result from a non invasive pain free treatment possible. Skin is always in safe hands with the fabulous therapist at Espa.

Went for a spa day with my partner.. Arrived just in time for our lunch(could u PLEASE make the sign better for your hotel as passed it and ended up getting lost for 30 mins 🙄
When they said light lunch.. They should have said light afternoon tea.. Which was nice and a lovely young lad served us..
The pool was cold but the jacuzzi was nice and warm and just a shame it didn't have a nice view of the lovely surrounding wicklow mountains instead it felt dark and claustrophobic... Also don't go close to 3 as it allows children so not a relaxing spa(have no problem with children but if I'm away for a spa day I don't need to hear children screaming with excitement beside me)
The spa treatment was one of the BEST I've had in a long time (3 half hour treatments of Heaven) sorry can't remember the girls name but she was brilliant..
I was disappointed that the spa hadn't much going for it and the relaxation room had a lovely view BUT when it's bright it doesn't make the other quests stay quiet so when I've finished a treatment a nice dimly lit room will keep people quieter!!!
Overall I had a lovely day and would go back for treatments...

My daughter and I stayed in your beautiful hotel recently and paid a visit to your amazing spa. I had the welnamis treatment - beyond fab and my daughter had a gorgeous massage. The spa is beyond luxurious and we had a swim in the pool followed by some quiet time in the serenity room. Thank you so much to the lovely Kelly and her super attentive team - we can't wait for our next visit.

My daughter and myself had a spa day at Powerscourt Hotel.
I had Gabriel as my therapist and would highly recomend him.

I certainly didn’t want to wait at spa reception desk for my appointment while staff member booked her party for ten people by phone leaving me waiting to be looked after!!!
