Das Kloster sieht von aussen sehr nett aus, deshalb sind wir hinein gegangen. Drinnen ist es jedoch eine Baustelle. Vor dem Altar steht ein großes Gerüst und die Wände sind nur mit Putz bedeckt. Die Natur drumrum ist wunderschön.

The monastery is a must see in case you are in the area. The grounds are well maintained and the place itself is so tranquil. You can admire the beautiful icons and also visit the nearby shop. The nuns were very nice and helpful.

Once through the gates [ with no admittance charges] there was seen a spacious 'mini-village' of mainly white accommodation, understood to include visitor guest accommodation - not checked out.
There is an attractive Chapel and a small, separate gift shop for buying of postcards.
This was a very peaceful experience where, with good weather, it was possible for us to pause in the grounds and enjoy sharing this time and place, regardless of national or denominational differences. For me, a very worthwhile visit.

Assieme ad amici conoscitori di questo paese mi hanno riferito che e' o sta per diventare patrimonio dell'umanita .Sono rimasto molto sorpreso in quanto tutte le abitazioni sono costruite in modo uguale e dipinte in bianco e verde che rappresenterebbero i colori ungheresi in quanto gli abitanti provengono dall'Ungheria.Numerosi sono i b&b e tanti piccoli negozzietti che vendono prodotti locali e non. Mi e' stato riferito che acquistare una piccola abitazione costa moltissimo anche se molto vecchie e forse essendo luogo di villeggatura con viste meravigliose e con la complicita' di far parte dell'Unesco fa fermantare i prezzi.Prima di arrivare si puo' ammirare un bellissimo castello ristrutturato e adibito a hotel. Abbiamo pranzato in un tipico ristorante ungherese(non ricordo il nome) e non mi ha soddisfatto sia per il menu sia per la qualita'.Comunque questo posto molto caratteristico merita di essere visitato.

The friendly people,landscapes,history of the place,quiet atmosphere.you get the possibility to explore more intereting places,like Cheile Turzii,Turda salina,an old fortress,to taste hungarian and romanian food in nice local restaurants.

Nice surroundings, poor nuns were punished not to talk so we couldn't get any info. Otherwise is nice that is a public space and anyone can go and visit. As long as you are respectful and quiet

Nice monastery situated in a beautiful surroundings. Worth stopping by when you visit the area. Both tourists and pilgrims are welcome and they all like it.
