我的孩子们到达了5号平台！在那里度过了最好的时光。请穿运动鞋。2号套餐，到5号平台大约需要1个小时。1号套餐到3号平台大约需要40分钟。应该试一试。

在这次旅途中花了5个小时，这对懦弱的人来说真的很艰难。滑下滑坡，在沙地/水滩上爬行，爬上陡峭的斜坡等等，手掌、肘和护膝都被弄湿、磨破了。而就像所有的冒险一样，当一切结束时，你会很有成就感。

学龄期孩子应该来这里学习洞穴知识。只要孩子们能够稳稳地爬楼梯（最大不到1英尺的间隙）、不怕高（你可以通过一些金属楼梯看）并愿意听取安全指示的话，这是课外活动必须要来的一个地方！！ 您可以在购买门票时自由选择不同的路线，小学旅行应选择陆路一直到“世界之巅”，然后通过相同的路线返回，没有水路。我认为，无论该地区是否是雨季，在规划阶段任何事情都是无法预测的，应确保我们不会被困在里面！

我第一次真正的洞穴探险就是在这里。我们选择grand tour/wet tour/tour 4。我们和几个小组合并，所以大约有30人。我们由两名友好并且乐于助人的游骑兵带领。头灯/手电筒是必备的，你可以从他们那里租。我建议你戴上护膝/手套，因为我们会有滑动、攀爬、匍匐前进的时候。我在河里爬行时，膝盖上有一点小瘀伤，因为河里有小石头。请在参观前吃好早餐，因为它花费了3/4个小时，几乎没有休息点。河水对我来说很冷，也让我变得更饿。一段很棒的的体验，下次再来时会更有准备，并且会和更多冒险者一起去探险。

我们4个人作为独立旅行者参观了这个洞穴。 洞穴有5个平台，前3个（可以）通过已建立和维护良好的步行路径保存完好。 接下来的两个平台被归类为“冒险” - 通过地下溪流和狭窄的开口进去。这对身体条件要求更高，参与者必须穿背心和头盔。 这些旅行由经验丰富的导游带领。 我们发现步行路径对于那些习惯灌木行走并且没有平衡问题的人来说相对容易。 大多数路径都是混凝土做成，主要是金属楼梯。 灯光比比皆是，以确保安全通过 整个洞穴。 3个平台有着异国情调的名字：比如我记得的叫风洞和世界之巅。 我们很满意这个洞穴，管理和维护得很好。 总的来说，这是一次有价值的体验。

对于我们当中没去过洞穴内部的人而言，这儿很令人大开眼界。我们选择的是初级路径——无向导。门票价格挺合理的。洞穴非常美，很壮观。但感觉很闷，我们当中有些年长的游客攀登的时候有些上气不接下气，但还是走完了全程。大约要走30分钟。在入口处有洗手间。

Hello, I am heading to Gua Tempurung next week and would like to do the Grand Tour on Thursday morning. I read some reviews saying that they couldn't do this tour because there weren't enough people to start it and the guide wasn't English-speaking. Can someone advise if it is better to book a private tour for this to ensure that the tour goes ahead or am I worrying needlessly?
Also read some reviews saying that it was difficult to get transport out from Gua Tempurung unless you drive - can anyone share if it was difficult getting a taxi/Grab out to our next destination?

Obviously Private tour will be better choice as you would not need to wait. But there many group or buses came and you can easily go along with them. Perhaps you may have to wait for 45 min..
and yes, getting grab / taxi out from our destination will be tough because the distance from the main road to Gua tempurung around 8 KM. Mostly call arrive with private tour OR the same taxi waiting for them to bring them out.

We found having a personal guide gave us more history and insight to the caves. The tour also covered the Gaharu Tea Valley, Kellie's Castle and Gopeng Museum. Sami Kuppusamy from Samudera Ipoh Tour was a great guide, very patient , knowledgeable and informative and also very reasonably priced for a 1/2 day tour.

Hi, we are now in Ipoh and would like to visit this cave. Is this reachable via Grab? Will it be easy getting one for the return journey? Or are there any other transport options to/from Ipoh for this attraction? Appreciate the advice. Thx.

Easy to get a Grab there, but impossible to get a Grab back and no other transport options. There is a local taxi in Gopeng but depends on his availability. Make sure you arrange a return, maybe talking to the Grab that takes you there, hire a car or arrange with your hotel. I hope you enjoy your visit!

I am planning to visit Gua Tempurung later this month and take tour level 3, with around 7 people. Where should I buy the tickets, on-site or through any website? If I need buy the tickets on-site, when should we arrive the place? Do we need to bring own utensils like torch,etc, or they will provide for us? Lastly, we would like to do white water rafting the same day, is there any package provided? Looking forward to your reply.

you can go and buy onsite (on spot). the counter will start opening around 8.30 am to 9:00 am. You can rent the safely helmet with torchlight. And yes, you can both water rafting and cave adventure (combo package) with better deal at the counter. Alternative you can book everything inclusive water ratfing, cave adventure and stay at angeline villa. Very good deal! search google.

We saw the very elderly and some very young children. I should think they will allow but advisable child be on a harnest and not pram because lots of stairs and some very steep to climb.

Hi my friends and I (total 24pax) are interested to go for Level 4 Grand Tour Gua Tempurung. May I knoew do we need to do booking, if so, where/ any contacts yall have and mind sharing? Also, what is the earliest time/ or preferred time for it? Because I heard that it is roughly a 5hour journey.

Gua Tempurung is about 35 mins drive south of Ipoh. Not knowing where you're coming from have no idea how long it would take you.
We didn't book however suggest you ring the admin office to ask. Would imagine morning might be better than later.

i'm planning a trip to visit Gua Tempurung for a group of 26ppl and interested in joining tour 2. Do you know if i can book the tour in advance? I hate to make the trip all the way from KL and have the trip sold out. Also, anyone knows what time is the tour start, so we can plan our drive from KL accordingly?

yes shoes will be wet. Best to wear sandals or adidas kampung which is water proof. Do wear some knee pads as crawling on rocks will be involved depending on which tour package you select. Bring yourself a waterproof bag from hyper gear to keep your stash too.
