Lovely day with Jenny taking us to a goat farm at Moyarra where we tasted a variety of cheese's, and enjoyed morning tea and purchased cheese to take home with us,
Then lunch and tour of Jjaras at Inverloch, beautiful fresh farm produce for our lunch and final stop at Claypot Curry House in Woolamai for afternoon tea of cake and coffee. Wonderful day travelling through our beautiful Gippsland backyard.

Words are not enough to describe how amazing our experience has been...
The knowledge, friendliness, flexibility, attention to detail, passion for what they do and beautiful personalities of our hosts Jenny and Paul got us hooked.
We did two amazing tours with this company so far and we will certainly be coming for more!

Need better chefs and service needs to be made a focus. We experienced some pretty ordinary service from the cafes in the area.

Hi Jumbles, You have not ever visited Gippsland Food Adventures. Sorry to hear you have been disappointed with the service in the region. We are keen to provide the story behind some of the quality food produced in Gippsland. We take people to some leading producers in the area. Next time your coming to South Gippsland please come on a trip with us and we will see if we can give you a far better experience, We do need bookings in advance so let us know when your back.

A very warm welcome was extended to us where ever we went on our tour. Jenny and Paul arranged a full day of adventure and learning about the science and care of the environment involved in producing quality food & wine. This is achieved by caring for the environment along with their farm & native animals that live on Malabar Farm. Our adventure included a visit to Warratah Hills Winery to taste award winning wines with Neil followed by a delicious lunch prepared by Judy. The learning and tasting continued at Golden Creek Olives where Linda and Andrew showcased their olive groves with a walk while teaching us about the numerous varieties of olives and the many uses of olives and olive oil. Generous tastings of Golden Creek Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Dukkah completed our visit. Paul got us safely back to the station while providing a great commentary on the way.

Thanks Howard, It was a pleasure to have you and the group visit us at Malabar Farm and show you the stories behind some of Tarwin Valley's great producers. I love what you and your team are doing for the beautiful town of Loch and the Food and Wine Festival in June.

Every palate pleasing richness of South Gippsland showcased with passion, generosity, and a welcome professionalism.
Hosts Paul and Jenny, profile the flavours of South Gippsland with an insight which clearly demonstrates their understanding of this amazing food and wine region. Their hospitality and graciousness only exceeded by their sharing of hands on rural images and breathtaking scenery.

When a visit to a place totally exceeds your expectations and delivers a real WOW factor, you know you've found a little gem! The care that Paul & Jenny show towards their animals and their land and the knowledge they share is both touching and amazing. I've never seen such contented animals or greener pastures. Then there is the Grass Tree forest. It takes your breath away. A private hidden oasis of native bush. I felt so lucky to see this. This is a must do tour for adults and children alike. Paul & Jenny will structure the tour to the groups ages and interests. Bookings are required and small groups are best. They are a giving and compassionate couple raising the best beef and lamb I've ever seen. Don't miss it.

We attended with friends on our annual food and wine weekend away .we were all very impressed with the professionalism , level of science and technology that has been brought to the farm. Every aspect , including these tours has been streamlined to add to the bottom line . Paul and Jenny were happy to provide as much info as possible. Also their commitment to the environment should be the benchmark for all of us . I happily recommend this tour to you.

Our Beefsteak & Burgundy Club annual weekend away this year included a morning at Malabar Farm. What a fantastic event! From the moment we were met By Paul & Judy we knew that we were in the hands of people that know their "trade" and know how to educate visitors. They showed us how that caring for their animals was the basis of good business practice, they showed us that grazing animals was more than just having a few sheep/cattle in a paddock and they showed us that having a sense of passion actually pays!
If that wasn't enough the walk to their Hidden Valley of grass trees was another highlight of its own, so spectacular, serene and ancient.
Loved it all.

We had the pleasure of spending the day with friends walking the George Bass Coastal Walk with Paul and Jenny. We didn't know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. What a beautiful part of the world. The walk is relaxed, the scenery amazing and Paul and Jenny passionately shared with us their love for the region and what it produces. We finished the day off sampling delicious cheeses and wine from the region before heading to the Kilcunda Store for a fabulous lunch. All included in the cost. A great experience and well worth doing. Sue S

Thanks Sue, We had a great time with you all- what a fun group! What a wonderful idea for you to get together and explore a piece of Victoria together once a year. Glad you chose South Gippsland and Bass Coast this year and were brave enough to walk the beautiful and rugged George Bass Walk. We enjoyed profiling some of Gippsland's fabulous food and wine on the Food Adventure.

i went with a friend and did not know what to expect but i'm very happy to have had the experience. i loved getting up close to the sheep and cattle and learn about life on a working farm. Jenny and Paul are very passionate about what they do and willing to explain and share with you their knowledge and their love for what they do. I recommend this tour for families with children old enough to enjoy a substantial day on the farm and play a small part in farmyard activities. it's also a great way to expose visitors to Australia to sheep and cattle farming and explore this lush green part of Victoria and learn its history.
