Last time I visited Mirusha was winter. We usually used to watch waterfalls as they flow , but not often we have had the opportunity to watch them seem frozen in time, when I was there I amazed. The frozen water produced unusual, but spectacular, water forms.The shape of the fang was indescribable.
It has beauty in warm weather as well as in winter.However , the big adrenaline starts on the trails which are more difficult for beginners.
If you're not used to the adrenaline rush of altitude and climbing, you'll definite sweat and your hearts will beat faster. But once you reach the waterfalls and upper lakes, you will be left speechless for a moment by the natural beauty awaits you.
Swimming in this place is definitely an indescribable feeling that brings you only pleasure and freshness - a perfect way to spend the weekend.
Therefore, I invite you to visit it at least once, you will not be disappointed.

Magnifique endroit à découvrir. Un chef d'oeuvre de Madame Nature ! On ne s'en lasse pas et on y passe un très bon moment.
La route pour y arriver par contre laisse à désirer. Après une dizaine de minutes sur un terrain de cailloux, sables et nids de poules vous vous arrêtez puis vous marché sur un petit chemin de fortune pendant 5 minutes environ. N'hésité pas à prendre de bonnes chaussures pour éviter une entorse.

Leuke ervaring, het is wel even klimmen om bij de verschillende hoogtes watervallen te komen maar wel de moeite waard. Er is ook genoeg parkeergelegenheid.

A very nice waterfall, with several pools. There are some coffee bars down, very nice walking routes, if you are brave you can climb also to the top of the waterfall. In the summer you can also take a bath.
Do not use the old route from Sverke, go on M9-1 to the Mirusha Fish restaurant, there turn to the road and you can get very close to the waterfall by car

I give the gorge & what I could see of the falls a 5 and Google Maps (GM) a -1000.
GM sent me on a nasty road to a bridge that was broken and had been for some time.
I wasn't alone. Another group (and one of them was a Kosovar!) had also been deceived by GM.
By bushwacking, we found some trails with limited access but nothing that got us to the heart of the falls.... so we both gave up.
My advice: go to the Mirusha Hotel (GM will get you there reliably) and ask for directions to the falls.
This was not my first negative experience with GM in the Balkans.... you have been warned!

Mirusha Wasserfällen sind mehrere Wasserfällen am Mirusha River dieser liegt im Süden von den Gremnik Berge. Auf dem Weg nach Gjakova auf einer Höhe von 572 m. Die Entfernung von der Hauptstadt Pristina liegt etwa 1 Stunde. Am Ende gibt es genügend Parkplätze dort muss man dann (1€) bezahlen. Die Leute die gerne Wandern ist es eine Oase für Ruhe. Im Sommer kommt es vor das hier schon viel los ist, da viele Einheimische hier her kommen aber sonst sehr Ruhig.

Man erreicht die Wasserfälle mit dem Auto nur von Süden her am besten via die M9-1 und biegt etwa 500m südlich des an dieser Strasse gelegenen Restaurant ‘Central Park’ östlich in die Anfahrtsstrasse. Am Ende gibt es genügend Parkplätze (1€) und ein kleines Café. Die kleine Wanderung zu den oberen Fällen dauert etwa eine Stunde (Hin- und Rückweg), ist eher steil und teilweise rutschig.

Last time in Kosovo we tried to find the falls but could not find it, this time we were prepared. The road to the falls is not in the best shape so it´s a slow ride. There´s a parking slot nearby and a guy asked 1€ for parking.
The actual waterfall is quite small but somehow impressive. There were several locals fishing but I don´t think they got anything. By the falls there were also a couple of restaurants. At the summertime we might have spend the more time but now an hour was enough for us.

Lasciata l'auto sulla strada principale che da Pristina/Pec porta a Giacova, ci incamminiamo per una quarantina di minuti verso questo sentiero che arriva in questo posto meraviglioso. Immersi nella natura, un piccolo angolo di paradiso nel Kosovo centrale che merita sicuramente una visita

Luogo naturale e bellissimo. Nascosto e sconosciuto ai più che però merita assolutamente una visita. Vi è un'atmosfera di pace che rilassa profondamente. D'estate poi dev'essere particolarmente piacevole per la frescura del luogo. (Io sono andato ormai con il fresco). Peccato non sia ancora più pulito ed attrezzato perché ha un potenziale turistico notevole. Consigliato!
