It's a beautiful beach. It's very windy and, if you don't go surfing, you have to look for some coves to be able to swim (we found it in the island after a half hour walk)!

We went to this beach for the windsurfing and the drive down to it is a spectacular sight, with the two seas separated by a beautiful looking beach.
On the day went there was very little wind but there were plenty of people making the most of the light breeze, with kite boarding on one side and windsurfing and foil boarding on the other side of the beach.
The place looks like it would be amazing if there was some wind and it truly has potential to be idyllic. It is however let down by the large amounts of rubbish and debris on the beach. I imagine it is what comes out of the sea when the beach is in flood. It is very disappointing how we have ruined such a beautiful place.
I'm not sure whether the beach is cleaned, but on our visit there was rubbish on top of rubbish that looked like it had been there a long time.
Another disappointing thing is how we all just accept it as the norm.

Sharing between the Aegean and the Mediterranean. A lot of wind, so you have to go when it's hot. One side with a lot of waves and the other the flat calm... Knee-high water for long meters allows you to enjoy clear water. To do at least once, even there is some waste, thank you the holidaymakers..

What a paradox!!
My first Impression would have been to be disappointed to see the beach so dirty without anyone worrying. Such a place is supposed to deserve the same praise I will make for the "hiking" to reach the Lighthouse. Incredible landscapes breathtaking. The beauty of colors.A reconnection to giant nature that leads us to question how we preserve it.

One of the best beach days we had on Rhodes. Free parking and lots of tavernas to pick from for a spot of lunch. Worth walking over the hill to see prasonisi lighthouse but it's a fair walk in the heat so only good if fitness is good. The beach itself is gorgeous and sandy and the water is crystal clear, great for snorkeling as lots of fish especially if you snorkel along the edges of the bays where the rocks are. Lovely sun and beach day, worth the drive south.

Nice little walk with magnificent views (basketball recommended), the detritus is focused at the end of the beach at the same time if people could respect nature it would be cleaner.

Really special place and definitely worth seeing if you go to Rhodes; for sports lovers like kitesurfing, fantastic because the beach is always windy.
For those who do not practice sports but want to enjoy a day on the sunbed to sunbathe maybe it is not ideal because the wind is really constant but if you are aware of this with the intent to live for a day a different place from usual, it deserves.
On one side the very rough Mediterranean sea and on the other the quieter Aegean Sea.

Ces empilements de pierre s appellent des Hermios en référence au dieu Hermès, le dieu des routes et des voyages!
Ce n'est certainement pas un hasard si il y a un lien entre ce dieu et ces pierres!!!
