The park is very good for kiddies, but not good for people on mobility scooters. I followed the trail, and when a little way into the wooded area, almost tipped off of my scooter! After going a little further, I then got stuck several times on roots, rocks and uneven ground. Thank goodness my husband was there to help me!

Interesting park several waymarked walks, play aŕa, shop and cafe. Great for families and dog walkers and walkers. Nice views across the park, stream and autumnal colours

Beautiful country park with stunning scenery.
Plenty of walkways and a small museum near the cafe. Safe place for families and dogs.

Great park with a couple of short walking routes within the park, but there is an option for something longer if that's what you want.
There is ample grassed areas for picnics, kicking a ball around etc and a play park for the kids. There are some old steel works equipment from the old steel works at Corby, but no plaques to let you know what their task entailed which is a bit of a shame. There is a small museum however with more information.
The park has a cafe with ample seating inside and out and has a good selection of food, drink and ice creams.
The parking here is FREE! Something very rare these days.
I would highly recommend East Carlton Park.

A super walk any time of year. Lovely to see the spring flowers, summer rich green trees and then the colour changing trees and surroundings. Snowdrops are my favourite in the early spring.

This country park is a beautiful place however... there is a trail that you can follow, unfortunately there were loads of plaques missing so you get to number 5 and then you loose the story. Very disappointing.

Great little cafe & super friendly but absolutely NO sign of any recycling for waste. Come on guys there’s no excuse snap to it.

The children enjoyed the play area. Although they got covered in sand. Do bring spades and buckets if they want to dig etc.
The cafe was fine to get icecream from. No idea about food. The country park is straight up the A427 and easy to find. Parking is free and main entrance is never locked. Website says 5:00pm as do signs.
The walk around was fine, children enjoyed spotting the Pokémon wooden figures. Other than that they got bored.
It’s ok for a few hours but not much more.

A beautiful park to visit, coffee shop ( when open) and loads of space to roam. Plenty of wildlife and a generally well kept area.
Almost hard to believe that it's run by the local council and is a credit to them and there staff.
Children's play area, which is enclosed and benches so you can keep an eye on them.
Ample parking.
Just a lovely place to clear the mind.

Lovely park. Fab little shop with such nice people serving and helping. I bought some really nice and very reasonably-priced plants there - that was a real bonus.
The walk we did followed a 'story' through the woods. The kids loved it - every now and then you'd stop at a plaque and read another chapter. So much fine, and a lovely family walk in fab surroundings. And didn't even have to pay to park.

If coming from Corby you pass the park on the right hand turn down the road on the right, if coming the other way take the left turn - this is the same road, follow it right down and the entrance is on the right...and yes it's open every day.
