A really soothing place to have a walk. The reservoir (a top up for the Canal) has wildlife, if that's your thing.
In season the traffic on the canal and their passage through the locks is really interesting and can make for some good photos

What a beautiful part of Bromsgrove. If you just want to stroll or make it a mission the canals in Bromsgrove are the best, you can walk the locks (longest in the uk) or stop along the way at the queens head or my favourite the Navigation

We stayed in redditch where there is not much to do but this is a really nice walk. We parked our car at 'crafted boats, new warf'. Plenty parking space there. From new warf you can walk to pub/restaurant 'the queens head' (ca 6 km) have a drink or a snack and go back. Tip: most persons on the boats like it when you help with opening or closing the locks.

Great for a lovely walk or a cycle ride, with the queens head pub for a cheeky little drink afterwards, also visit Tarbreddge reservoir

Nice walk planning coming again soon recommend to everyone and it's near the queen's head very nice for walks or walks with your dog :)

Walking down hill from Tardebigge church is recommended as you eventually come to the Queens Head pub. This is a good place to have a bite to eat and a well deserved drink before walking up past the many locks again (50?). Other than that they are locks that have boats in them. What else can be said?

A brilliant place to go for a walk after lunch in the Queens Head below lock 27. The locks are maintained by the fantastic Canal&river trust team based at Tardebigge above lock 58

Do you want to relax and forget it all in an active way? Canal walk between seemingly countless locks on the Birmingham - Worcester canal is what would probably help you.

This is a great place to visit on a warm dry day. The canal is quite busy so there are plenty of opportunities to see the locks in action. The tow-path affords easy level walking. A very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours strolling past the locks watching the boats negotiating the locks, and generally forgetting about the hustle and bustle of town life.

Hi would follow the wise advise given above.The towpath here is extensively used by locals for walking and cycling.
There is little or no room if you set a BBQ up in some areas & Waterways, the operators,would not be happy on this score.
