The people at the cash register are very nice. For example, I destroyed the ski poles and I didn't have to pay anything. Perfect

Friendly staff. Rented ski equipment (and a sled) and had kids complete a one day advanced beginners ski class. Adrian and Jana really put effort into making the kids enjoy the class and learn something. It really requires a lot of patience so kudos to both. A lot better compared to a different ski instructor last year at a different ski school. Kids with little to no ski experience start their class right next to the shop. At lunch we were allowed to leave our skis without costs and pick them up later. Ski passes could also be returned with the 2 Euro deposit being returned without the need of walking to the Stuhleck ski pass office.

wir waren im Jänner dort auf ein Drei-Generationen Skifahren und unser vierjähirger bekam dort Privatunterricht - auch zugleich ein guter Skiverleih, gleich neben dem Büro ein Lift der ins Skigebiet führt !

We took our daughter for her first ever ski lesson and found the service and the teacher to be excellent

We recently spent 6 days in Vienna prior to Christmas, and as our daughter has never seen snow before, i thought it might be great idea idea for her to experience the sport of skiing.
Before we left Malaysia, I spent some time looking for a ski school that was close to Vienna that could accommodate the three of us in skiing lessons. Whilst there are several other ski schools in the Spital am Semmering area, Schneesports - Schneesport Taberhofer were the only one that I could communicate with as they had an English language option, the others were predominately in German.
Spital am Semmering is approximately an hour and a half to two hours by train from Vienna Hauptbanhof. We were advised by the ski school to get off at Mürzzuschlag Station and get a cab to their location, about 10 mins away.
Whilst there was not a lot of natural snow around due to the unseasonably warm weather this year, there was enough man made snow for us to play in. The staff at Schneesports - Schneesport Taberhofer were extremely welcoming and helpful in sorting out ski equipment for the three of us.
I would like to thank Marko, our ski instructor, for his patience and good humour in dealing with three non skiers in challenging icy conditions. Marko spent the majority of the time picking our daughter up out of the snow and even encouraged her to roll down the hill much to the amusement of ourselves and other Austrians standing around watching.
We will be returning again soon and hopefully there will be more snow next time.
